As an inquisitive Christian reader, I thoroughly enjoy Bro. David Stewart’s
website, Jesus-is-savior.com. I
love reading his articles that rip and expose religious heathendom, and I
revel in the blessings of finding out and being taught Biblical truths and
insights.
In this article, Bro. Stewart writes and vehemently condones a
pre-Tribulation Rapture, which is precisely what the King James Bible
teaches. You’d have to be either a newborn Christian who feeds on milk and
knows no better, or a jaded fool to believe in anything but a
pre-Tribulation Rapture.
The point Bro. Stewart makes is shown here in these powerful Scriptures:
Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house,
and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded
the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master
of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in
the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say
unto you I say unto all, Watch.
“Why would Jesus teach His disciples to “WATCH” in Mark 13:33-37 if Christ cannot return until AFTER the sun and moon are darkened, the Antichrist rises to power, and there is a totalitarian World Government? The Bible screams a Pre-Trib Rapture loud and clear, but you have to rightly divide the word of truth.” “BEWARE the ‘After The Tribulation’ Heresy”
That’s the problem with the post-tribbers and
pre-wrathers (people who either believe in the Rapture happening AFTER the
Tribulation [post-trib], and those who believe the Rapture happens BEFORE
the Lord Jesus Christ returns to judge the nations [pre-wrath]). They don’t
rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
These folks, although they may be sincere, are sincerely WRONG-O when it
comes to this vital doctrine. They might be referring to the Bible versions
like the NIV which eviscerate the Word of God horribly, or they may sit
under leaders who are, in themselves, ignorant, or babes in Christ (by the
way, a novice is NOT a candidate for leadership in God’s church, 1 Timothy
3:2-6). Let me remind you, dear reader, that sadly, many people today are
lazy and just don’t care about Bible truths. They’ll either take what they
get or don’t bother at all. That’s most people, because Jesus said only a
FEW will enter into the Kingdom of God:
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because
strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few
there be that find it. Matthew 7:13,14
Notice the Old English word, “strait.” That means “hard, difficult,
burdensome, requiring diligence and effort.” It also means, “narrow.” Many
professed Christians today, even though they are saved by fire (I am in no
wise doubting anyone’s salvation), are woefully lacking in diligence and
hunger for God’s Word. They’re satisfied with coming to an apostate church
once a week, warming their 18 inches of pew for an hour, then going back out
and living like the Devil himself. They don’t want the truth. They’re babes
in Christ or not Christians at all. God pity those who deny the truths of
the King James Bible, let alone support the hirelings that lead them astray
because THEY can’t (or won’t) get it right.
God said He vomits out lukewarm people who are just sitting idly by, not
caring about His Word, let alone obeying it. They’re comfortable in their
belief that they did their Sunday church duty. Let me inform you, the
Christian life is anything but comfortable! Jesus said He would rather us to
be cold or hot, not lukewarm. In other words, He would rather someone be
totally against religion and an atheist than someone be a hearer and not a
doer, which unfortunately churches are filled with nowadays. The modern
church is one big ear, but refuses to put feet to what they hear.
Do you want to know why Jesus wants believers to watch and pray? Because He
desires to bless us if we obey His Word. He wants us to know and dwell on
the fact that He is coming very soon!! He can return at any moment. That’s
the truth. Other opinions such as pre-wrath and post-trib are merely
speculation, not the truth. They can’t be proven, because they’re not in the
Bible. Indeed, the Lord Jesus Christ WILL return as a thief in the night,
without warning or delay. The seconds are ticking away. Will you be ready??
