Don't Let Satan Fill Your Heart

Acts 5:3, “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?”

       The apostle Peter said that Satan filled Ananias heart to lie to the Holy Ghost! What does that mean? Satan is a spiritual being, who can only be in one place at one time. Did Satan personally come to Ananias and fill his heart? No, that is not what the Bible is saying. I think you will enjoy this Bible lesson. When Peter asked Ananias, “Why hath Satan filled thy heart?,” he simply meant that Ananias had permitted Satanic thinking to enter into his heart. Ironically, Jesus accused Peter of the VERY SAME EVIL in Mark 8:33, “But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.” Jesus could have asked Peter the very same question that he asked Ananias: “WHY HATH SATAN FILLED THY HEART?” That is interesting!

I was just listening to the inspired King James Bible and heard an applicable Scripture from Revelation 20:3, “And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” How does Satan deceive the nations? That is a good question? It's is not too difficult to figure out, when we simply consider at all the blatant deceptions in American society today! We've been lied to by the federal government about so many things, and conned, and there are so many existing deceptions which the government sanctions that I could easily write a lengthy book about it!

Let me mention just a few of Satan's lies, cons and deceptions:

1. The blatant lies of evolution in the public school system
2. The fraudulent Federal Reserve Baking system and their fiat “funny” money since 1913
3. The fraudulent psychotropic drug industry
4. The deception of World Wars I and II
5. The U.S. government's fraudulent excessive income tax
6. The fraudulent War On Illegal Immigration
7. Fraudulent televangelists and their fake healing racket
8. The fraudulent 501c3 licensing of the churches
9. The fraudulent fluoridation of tap water
10. The Satanic Bible corrupting movement
11. The fraud of Global Warming
12. The fraudulent U.S. presidential election system
13. The U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that a fetus in a mother's womb is not life yet
14. The fraud of a War Against Drugs
15. Same-sex marriage perversion
16. The lie that two airplanes brought down the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001
17. The lie that the nation of Iraq possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction
18. The deception of Freemasonry
19. The deception of religion as a means of obtaining eternal salvation

These are but a handful of Satan's lies, cons and deceptions among literally THOUSANDS in the world. 1st John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” Most of these that I mentioned exist here at home in the United States. The Devil is the father of all lies and liars! John 8:44, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

Dear reader, the world is filled with Satanic thinking. Ananias had allowed the ways of Satan to fill his heart, as did his wife, which compelled them to lie about a money matter (that ended up costing them both their earthly lives. I am fully convinced that Ananias and Sapphira were born-again Christians. We have no reason to doubt their salvation. Likewise, we see from Christ's words that the apostle Peter had allowed Satanic thinking into his heart in his sincere ignorance. The Bible says that Peter actually “REBUKED” the Savior for explaining to them “THE GOSPEL”...

Mark 8:31-33, “And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.”

Jesus called Peter, “Satan”! Wow! Peter was completely sincere, but also 100% in error and wrong! Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Jesus responded the correct way—the way we all should to Satanic advice—GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!!
 

Beware of the Dangerous Counsel of the Ungodly

The world is filled with bad advice that has been inspired by the Devil. Psalms 1:1-3, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Chances are extremely unlikely that you will ever meet the Devil at any time during your lifetime, because he stays busy ruling over his earthly kingdom. 2nd Corinthians 4:3-5, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.” Satan is busy deceiving the nations of the earth, with all sorts of lies, but mainly the lie that you can get to Heaven by living a religious life. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Please don't let Satan fill your heart. As we just read in Psalms 1:1, the Bible commands us not to walk in “the counsel of THE UNGODLY”! There is a lot of ungodly counsel available in the ungodly world. We must be on guard and quick to discern what is of the Lord or of the Devil 1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” We are taught to try (or test) the spirit, to see if they are of God. Every form of media has a spirit to it (books, movies, magazines, articles, music, lyrics, plays, poems, et cetera). As Christians we must continually have an objective mind, lest we find our self going along with something demonic before even even realize it!

Ananias allowed the ways of Satan to fill his heart. Satan's way is the evil way. Since mankind is inherently sinful by nature, we don't need to be influenced by demons to let Satan fill our heart. Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” All we have to do, to let Satan fill our heart is let our guard down! Although we cannot escape committing sin completely, we can take precautions that will help us to live righteously for the Lord! Ecclesiastes 7:20, “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” Even the best Christian still commits sin sometimes, because we are sinners by nature and by choice. I am a big sinner, just like you and anybody else. We need to constantly be on guard against the Devil, lest we allow his ways to fill our heart. 1st Peter 5:7, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” Sin is the Devil's way. Anytime that someone commits a horrible crime or does something evil (i.e., premeditated sin), it is because they allowed Satan to fill their heart! Put another way, Dr. Bob Jones Sr. used to say: “Behind every tragedy in human character is a slow process of wicked thinking!” Yes Sir, that is very true!
 

Beware of Amy Grant's Ungodly Influence

Beware of ungodly counsel. A common excuse that wives (who sinfully file for divorce) make is that they received “bad counsel.” YOU LIAR, YOU DID WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO! Don't blame others for your actions! Singer Amy grant blamed her decision to divorce on “bad counsel.” No, Amy wanted to leave her husband to commit adultery with Vince Gill, plain and simple! I'm sure she did receive ungodly counsel, but Amy LET SATAN FILL HER HEART, just as did Ananias and Sapphira. I was in K-mart one day and saw a despicable magazine cover, showcasing Amy and Vince as the “ideal marriage.” That is evil. They are NOT the ideal marriage. IT IS ADULTERY! Ask Gary Chapman (Amy's betrayed husband since 1999 what he thinks about Amy's new marriage). I am not “judging Amy,” I am preaching the truth that we all do what we do because WE WANTED TO DO IT! I have no one else to blame for my sins, failures and shortcomings, except myself! DON'T LET SATAN FILL YOUR HEART, AS HE DID AMY AND VINCE. Amy should just admit, I was wrong, period!

Country singer Rodney Crowell redefines ADULTERY this way:

Mutual friend Rodney Crowell sums their relationship up this way: "Sometimes one person in your life puts that final block in place, and you step into the ownership of who you are. That was a positive merging right there -- two great, fun-loving, accessible people. They're the perfect couple and parents, fully realized human beings and philanthropists. And there's absolutely no pretension about them, which is very rare."

What saith the Scripture? Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Please understand that I do not throw rocks at anyone, for I am the biggest sinner I know. I have no ill-will toward Amy or Vince, and if I met them in public I would be friendly and kind toward them. But I am a Baptist preacher, and someone needs to make sure not to allow this ungodly generation to diminish, explain away, justify or showcase the adulterous marriage relationship between Amy and Vince. It began with the sin of adultery. It is sad that Amy has biological children from two different marriages, which the ungodly media downplays as “BLENDING FAMILIES.” It is confusion and sin! That is not God's perfect will for any woman! She chose this!

Kindly, the marriage of Amy Grant and Vince Gill is disgraceful and always will be! Two singing multi-millionaire celebrities fall in love, so it's okay to abandon your spouses? I hate the country music industry because it is synonymous with the sinful evil of adultery. I am the biggest sinner I know, and I do not condemn people with my ministry; albeit, I am not going to sit idly by while people brag on the “ideal marriage” between two adulterers! By the way, if Amy would have been at home in the kitchen, instead of making records in the studio, she never would have met Vince Gill. I know of numerous men who lost their wives, because they allowed their wife to work a secular job, and she ran off with a coworker. 1st Timothy 5:14 teaches that woman belong at home, raising children and guiding the home! Amy is turned aside after Satan (1st Timothy 5:15). Get mad at me if you want, I am trying to save someone's marriage. Don't follow Amy's wicked example! Don't quit your marriage! Don't let Satan fill your heart to do evil in the sight of God!!! Amy Grant has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, but she is unknown in Heaven I assure you!

Gratefully, I saw Vince Gill in 1996 at the International Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis, when his pedal steel player John Hughey was inducted into the Hall of Fame. It was a great time! I am not saying that Amy and Vince shouldn't be forgiven, but since they are both big name celebrities, they are continually in the spotlight. They have to reasonably expect open criticism, especially from Bible preachers. It is God's place alone to forgive. I do not judge Amy and Vince. Hopefully they are Christians, and have sought to make reconciliation for their sins against their former spouses. Tragically, ungodly Americans (who murder their children by ungodly abortion) have accepted the ungodly sins of adultery and divorce as the “norm.” We ought never accept wickedness as being normal.
 

Keep Thy Heart With All Diligence

I often quote Proverbs 4:23, which is my favorite Bible verse, but the surrounding verses go along with it, teaching us how to prevent Satan from filling our heart to do evil. ...

Proverbs 4:20, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.”
Proverbs 4:21, “Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.”
Proverbs 4:22, “For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:24, “Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.”
Proverbs 4:25, “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.”
Proverbs 4:26, “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.”
Proverbs 4:27, “Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.”

I love that! The Bible tells us to KEEP THY HEART. And what a job it is! To keep our heart, we need to think about the King James Bible night and day (what it means and how to apply it to our life). Only God's Word can produce a man of God! The people in this world who don't want the Word of God are the ultimate losers—missing out on all the blessed promises God has to offer them, if they would only BELIEVE! Believing is an act of obedience. Hebrews 5:9, “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.” This does not suggest works for salvation, it simply means that believing the Gospel is an act of obedience to God. If you approach the Word of God with faith, taking its pages and words literally, that is enough to make any sane person want to jump up and down and shout praises to God! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD!!!

The Bible admonishes us not to have a crooked mouth. We should tell the truth, refrain from cursing or perverse talk, and don't gossip. This is how to KEEP THY HEART. I won't associate with people who tell dirty jokes, have a critical spirit, people who are prone to gossip, or swear in casual conversation. Proverbs 4:24, “Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.” I am a child of the King, and I want to live as such! The Scriptures teach us to get on the path of righteousness, and then don't even look to the left or to the right, lest we be derailed and get off the correct path. Proverbs 4:27, “Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.”

Satan wants to fill your heart dear reader with thoughts of evil. You can assuredly stop him, by filling your heart with the inspired Words of God. I seriously doubt if Ananias and Sapphira got up that fateful morning and walked with God. They were thinking about money instead, and how they could keep back some of it, which they had already promised to the local church. When they kept back some of the money, they became liars and cheats, going back on their word. And might I add, this is why we should NEVER make hasty promises to people, especially regarding financial matters. Proverbs 6:2, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” The world is an ungodly place folks.

I read about a lawyer in Chicago, who went into a nightclub bar one night and got drunk. He made friends with some “Buy-Me-Drinky” bimbos at the bar. While inebriated he promised to put a young girl through college. When he sobered up the next day, he denied making any financial promises to her, but she sued him in court and had her friends as witnesses. That is so evil on many counts. Shame on the lawyer for going to a nightclub and drinking booze. Shame on the young girls for doing the same. Shame on anyone who runs a sinful nightclub! If you want Satan to fill your heart, just go to a nightclub! Those wicked girls knew that the lawyer had been drinking alcohol, and was not thinking clearly, but they intentionally took advantage of him. Ungodly people will do anything for money! It will be a cold day in Hell before you ever find me in a cesspool of iniquity like that, surrounded by lewd vermin woman of the night, and the stench of liquid devil, all operated by some ungodly greedy person who merely wants more money! There is no joy on earth like that of knowing that you are completely right with God!!! I don't want to lose that feeling, which is the fear of God!

The best way to KEEP THY HEART and avoid Satan filling your heart is to become saturated with the inspired Words of God in the King James Bible. Listen to it night and day. I have been listening to the Bible throughout the night. The trick is to set the volume just right, not so loud that it keeps me awake, but not so low that it is irritating because I can't hear it. When the volume is set correctly, it is a blessing as I sleep to awake and hear phrases from the Scriptures that burn in my heart. I made the mistake of listening to Ezekiel last night though! If you ever listen to Alexander Scourby read the book of Ezekiel, God sounds really angry...lol. God was angry! The New Testament is best for at night. Oh, how we need the inspired Words of God in our soul! Do that and Satan WON'T fill your heart!
 

The Love of Money is the Root of All Evil

Many years ago, I heard Pastor Jack Hyles say in a sermon (scolding his people) that $100,000 in special donations promised by the congregation a year earlier had never been given to the church. That is one reason that I am completely against pastors browbeating and pressuring their people for money. As much as I love Brother Hyles as my hero of the Christian faith, he put his people into that difficult situation, by pressuring them for money for never-ending building programs. Pastor Steven Anderson is a brilliant young man, who never pressures his congregation for money, because as he says: “Well rent 'til Jesus comes!” I love that! That is wisdom. The early church in the book of Acts had no fancy church buildings. I heard Pastor Clarence Sexton pressure his congregation in 2016 for $1,000,000 to renovate Crown Bible College. Where does the hounding for money stop? I'm sick of it! Dear reader, be leery of committing yourself to give money while under pressure in a sermon! Please listen to Pastor Anderson's awesome sermon titled, “The Bible College Scam!”

We learn in the Bible that Solomon pressured his people for money, laying a heavy yoke upon the people's shoulders, which was difficult for them to bear, overtaxing them! When Solomon died and his son Rehoboam took the throne, he had to make a decision. The older men wisely advised him to lighten up on the people, whom his father had pressured for money for all his building projects. If Rehoboam had eased their heavy burden, the people would have loved him, and he would have been a good king. But the foolish young men (the punks) advised Rehoboam to 'crack the whip' and continue making the people's lives difficult. Rehoboam took the foolish advise of the ungodly young men, and 10 of the 12 Jewish tribes rebelled, leaving the kingdom of Judah, journeying north with Jeroboam to start their own kingdom in Samaria! So learn from the stupidity of Rehoboam! The love of money divided the kingdom of Israel. Sadly, Christianity has deteriorated into a business in America, to where everything nowadays is about money, money, money! It is evil.

KEEP THY HEART! Nothing will enable Satan to fill your heart more quickly than the love of money. If you attend a new church and they start begging you for money, get out of there as fast as you can! You have to use good judgment and wisdom regarding requests for money. Why do they want the money? I'll tell you, I visited Pensacola, Florida and drove by Pensacola Christian College (PCC). They own city-block after city-block of lucrative real estate! It is sickening!!! It's all about the money! GET RIGHT WITH GOD!

I wouldn't give you a dime for PCC or their shallow interns, who make light of the threat of the modern Bible versions. The PCC interns I have met are woefully ignorant—not knowing what is wrong with the Devil's counterfeit Bibles, totally indifferent, too arrogant and proud to listen to the truth—just going through the motions and collecting an underserved paycheck. Christianity in America is a big scam nowadays, where young people are sent by their pastors and parents off to some dead Bible college, to earn a degree that permits them to secure a career parasiting off the churches, denying the inspiration of the King James Bible, and as wimps they stand for nothing! What a scam!!! I'm talking about the cowardly Bob Jones University camp! I'm talking about Ambassador Bible College operated by Evangelist Ron Comfort. I'm talking about Hyles-Anderson College and their denial since 2008 of the inspiration of the King James Bible! I'm talking about Crown Bible College who also deny the inspiration of the King James Bible! IF YOU BELIEVE IT, PROCLAIM IT!!!

Would somebody tell all these apostate Bible colleges, and Evangelist Sam Gipp, that the King James Bible is inspired! My God, what is wrong with preachers today? I guarantee you that any pastor who denies the inspiration of the King James Bible is a GRADUATE OF A BIBLE COLLEGE! Bible colleges are dangerous today! May God give us a bunch of preachers in the next generation, who have never been tampered with by a damned Bible college! It is insane to think that the omnipotent God of the universe gave His “very pure” (Psalms 119:140) Words to mankind, but then let mortal scholars muck it all up and at best leave us with a flawed, imperfect, non-inspired, Bible version! Please don't let Satan fill you heart with the lie that the King James Bible is not inspired!
