Actor Gene Wilder, A Good Man But Lost
By David J. Stewart | August 2014
2nd Thessalonians 2:12, “That they all might be damned who believed not the truth , but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
In lieu of unsaved actor Robin William's tragic suicide last week at age 63, I got to thinking about another great entertainer of our time, Gene Wilder (real Jewish name: Jerome Silberman). Mr. Wilder starred as Willy Wonka in the 1971 classic film, “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.” Few films have impacted children as much as this movie has. I've always enjoyed the film. The movie sends a positive message to both parents and children about the consequences of dumb parents who pamper their children and raise a spoiled brat. Ironically, the film almost defines Americans today, both children and their spoiled bratty parents. The film also promotes being honest, which is a lacking character trait in our selfish, greedy and dishonest American culture these days.
I searched the internet and found a recent interview with Gene Wilder on YouTube. At age 81, Wilder said in the 2013 public interview that the reason why he stopped appearing in movies since the 1990's is because of all the swearing in Hollywood films these days. I commend Mr. Wilder for choosing decency over money, a rarity in the world. Gene Wilder fully understands that both parents and children highly admire and respect him, looking up to him as the magical man of Willy Wonka. People come up to him in stores with their children and say, “That's Willy Wonka!” That must be really cool. I like that. I'm a Willy Wonka fan myself. I've always loved the music more than anything, especially at the end when Willy Wonka gives Charlie Bucket (a poor boy) the entire chocolate factory and they fly over it in the Wonkavator. I know Heaven will be so much like that awesome feeling, but real (Romans 8:32).
Amazingly, Wilder has the same youthful face as he did 40 years ago. If he had his hair restored as many balding and white-haired elderly celebrities do, he'd look decades younger. Albeit, Wilder appears to be enjoying his Willy Wonka legacy and matured age, which is commendable. I feel sorry for people who have to always be somebody else to be happy. Gene Wilder seems to be happy at his age and with his life. Wilder said in the interview that he still receives about 4-5 letters each day from fans of all age, requesting his photo and signature. That's amazing considering that the Willy Wonka film was made 43 years ago. Truly, Gene Wilder will be missed by many fans when he enters into eternity, but where he goes is solely his decision to make. By worldly standards, Wilder is a good man, but he is still a sinner (as are all people - Romans 3:10-23).
Yet, sadly Gene Wilder is a professed atheist, what he calls a “Jewish-Buddhist-Atheist.”[1] This just goes to prove that there are many moral people, good and decent souls, who are still unsaved in their sins and bound for the Lake of Fire for all eternity without Jesus Christ. It is tragic! Gene Wilder is living in the 59th minute of the 11th hour before midnight, and the smell of the Bottomless Pit surrounds him. I do not say this to be unkind, but truthful. The Holy Bible is God's inspired Word. Mr. Wilder denies Jesus as His Savior. The Bible warns in 1st John 2:22-23, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” Being Jewish does not entitle anyone to eternal life. Buddhism is a satanic false religion. Judaism openly rejects Jesus as the Messiah. Jesus plainly said in John 3:5-7, “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN”!
And again we read the warning in Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” The Bible warns that whosoever doesn't believe on the only begotten Son of God is condemned (damned) already. Gene Wilder is presently damned in his unbelief at age 81, and unless he repents and turns by faith to Jesus Christ to be forgiven of his sins, He will burn in the Lake of fire and brimstone forever and ever without hope, mercy or rest from God...
John 3:16-18 and 36, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ... He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
I am saddened to write an article like this, but the truth needs to be told. I want to lead as many people as possible to the Lord. The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 4:4 that Satan is the god of this world who blinds people's minds from the truth of the Gospel. The Devil wants you to burn in Hell, which is where he is also going (Revelation 14:11; 20:10). The Bible foretold that the time would come when people would follow fables instead of the truth. Judaism and Buddhism are bogus fables. 2nd Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” Have you believed a lie?
God only knows how many people have also rejected Jesus Christ as their personal Savior because of Wilder's unbelief. Hell is filled with kind, sweet and honorable people. Yet, there are murderers in Heaven, like Moses and David, and Saul (Paul). You don't go to Hell because you're a sinner. You go to Hell because you reject God's grace that freely offers eternal life to all men by faith in Jesus as the Christ.
Heaven is a Real Place Far Greater Than Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory
The Bible's description of Heaven in Revelation 21 far exceeds the fictitious movie about Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Heaven has gates of pearl and streets of gold (Revelation 21:21). Do you really think that God doesn't have chocolate in Heaven? Do you actually think for one second that Willy Wonka's imaginative chocolate factory will be better than Heaven? Not a chance in the universe! I know that there will be edible things all around us, if that's what you want, just as in the Willie Wonka factory.
You may ask how I know this. Romans 8:32, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” The Bible says that since God the Father sacrificed His only begotten Son for our sins, certainly He will not withhold anything else from us. God knows exactly what you desire in your heart, and what will make you very happy in eternity. Jesus promised in John 14:1-2 that He is going to prepare a place for all believers, so that we may be with Him in eternity where He is. What a day that will be!!! Thank God for His love, grace and mercy in His Son, Christ Jesus. The Bible promises that God will GIVE US ALL THINGS! Certainly that would include an edible chocolate factory like the one we all cherish in fond childhood memories. Is there anything too hard for God?
Sadly, the insane world would rather burn in Hell and miss out on all of God's blessings. Please don't miss Heaven! If you want to experience Heaven, which will be the real life fulfillment of all the wonderful euphoric feelings which you've felt if you've ever watched “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” then just receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Religion is man trying to reach God by human effort, but Christianity is God trying to reach man through the sacrifice of His dear Son on the cross for our sins. Simply receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was resurrected from the dead three days later for our justification. The Gospel (good news) is three things; namely, Jesus DIED on the cross for your sins, He was BURIED, and then He was RESURRECTED after three days (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Receive the Gospel as full payment for your sins and you will be saved immediately, irrevocably and eternally. Don't add anything else to your faith, otherwise it's self-righteous religion and not faith alone in the Savior.
Every person who is trusting in God's righteousness through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for their sins is saved. We are dirty sinners and cannot merit eternal life. We cannot save ourselves. We cannot help save ourselves in the least. We can only be saved by God's righteousness, which is by faith in Christ Jesus. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” Please get saved before it's too late. The Bible has never been proven wrong. Proofs of God's existence, Christ's legitimacy and the Scripture's accuracy abound all around us. END
HELL FIRE (you'd better get saved before it's too late! by Pastor Danny Castle)
Not praying for others is a sin. 1st Samuel 12:23, “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way.” There were 10,080 minutes in the past week, did you pray for anyone for even a single minute of that time? God knows and so do you.

PERVERTED the words of the living God. .
