Jesus' Literal, Physical, Precious, Blood Saves!
by David J. Stewart
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." —1st Peter 1:18-19
Dr. John MacArthur is a false teacher who MAKES SALVATION HARD AND DIFFICULT. MacArthur is one of the most foolishly praised pastors and invited speakers worldwide. John MacArthur is an unsaved modernist (A modernist or, liberal, is an unsaved person who falsely professes to be a Christian). MacArthur esteems the blood of the covenant as an unholy (common) thing, Dr. MacArthur horribly treats the precious blood of Jesus as a common thing; such as a spare tire, a puddle of mud water, a bicycle or some other non-essential item. MacArthur is a liberal who claims that Jesus blood' never made it into the heavenly Holy Place (Hebrews 9:12); but rather, MacArthur says Jesus' blood fell onto the ground and soaked into the dirt at Calvary. MacArthur is teaching a lie of the Devil.
The blood had to be applied in the presence of God's glory, between the two Cherubims atop the Mercy Seat alter. The Old Testament tabernacle was a foreshadow of the heavenly tabernacle in Heaven. Just as the Old Testament high priest entered once a year with the blood of a spotless male lamb (which pictured Christ) to temporarily atone (cover) the sins of the people for another year. All of those Old Testament sacrifices were necessary to teach the rest of the world the spiritual truth that the coming Messiah, the sinless Lamb of God, would once and for all wash away men's sins. It's Not The Shedding Of Jesus' Blood That Saves, But The 'SPRINKLING' Of That Shed Blood
John MacArthur condemns himself with the following blasphemous statement against the precious, physical, literal, blood of Jesus Christ.. MacArthur teaches that Jesus' blood soaked into the ground at Calvary and stayed there, instead of being sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat as the Bible teaches...
"It is not the actual liquid that cleanses us from our sins, but the work of redemption Christ accomplished in pouring it out." —false teacher, Dr. John MacArthur

THE BLOOD
(MP3 sermon by Dr. Curtis Hutson)
LITERAL Blood of Jesus Had To Be Applied Mercy Seat In Heaven
Now here is some sound Biblical doctrine! The great Bible teacher, M.R. DeHaan, M.D. (pictured below), has it 100% correct when he states concerning the blood of Jesus...
The blood was to be sprinkled, remember, on the mercy seat right after the death of the substitutionary animal of sacrifice, Now Christ is, of course, our substitute. He was slain for us upon the Cross, and entered into death for us, and when He arose, He immediately went to heaven, entered into the holy of holies in heaven, sprinkled His precious blood upon the mercy seat before the throne of God, and forever settled the sin questions, and delivered us from the curse of the law. This is clearly taught in the New testament. Hebrews 9:12 is very definite on this:
"But by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
The Bible also makes plain when He accomplished this. On the morning of the resurrection He meets Mary at the tomb. As soon as Mary recognized Him, she prostrated herself upon Him, and would have kissed His feet, but with shocking suddenness, Jesus emphatically says to her: "Touch me not"; and then He proceeds immediately to give the reason why Mary is not permitted to touch Him at all.
"For I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." (John 20:17)
Literally the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Touch me not; for I now am about to ascend unto my Father." We can understand this action when we remember the the high priest after he had offered the sacrifice, was to enter the holy of holies, before he did anything else, with the precious blood. No one was allowed to approach him. Everyone was shut out until this was completely done. And here in the record of the meeting with Mary we have the fulfillment of this type. Here Mary meets her great High Priest, just arisen from the tomb, but before He had entered the holy of holies with the reconciling blood. And so He says to her, "TOUCH ME NOT."

What a wonderful truth! The Bible is so clear when you accept it as it's written. The best way to interpret the Bible is to not interpret it. By diligently cross-referring Scripture with Scripture, we are able to form a complete and accurate picture of divine Truth. Thank God for the precious redeeming literal blood of Christ Jesus!
“But BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” —Hebrews 9:12
The Death Of The Passover Lamb Was NOT Enough
When the Lord was going to pass over Egypt and destroy the firstborn, he said to Moses and Aaron in Exodus 12:13...
"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt."
The death of the lamb wasn't enough, the blood had to be applied Mr. MacArthur. God wasn't looking for a dead lamb in the backyard; No, rather, God was looking for the APPLIED BLOOD on the doorposts and lintel (doorplate) above the door. The blood had to be applied. John MacArthur's entire ministry is flawed, and he is a false prophet, simply because he is WRONG on the most important Christian doctrine of all—Jesus precious literal liquid blood! No genuinely saved person would ever deny the redemptive power of Jesus' physical blood!
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” —Hebrews 9:12If the Old Testament high priest killed the lamb and went home, the sins of the people were not atoned for. The lamb's blood had to be carried by a bowl into the holy of holies and applied to the mercy seat (which rested upon the Ark of the Covenant).
Here are the eloquent words of Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001) concerning the importance of the blood being applied...
In the Old Testament, the High Priest killed two goats on the Day of Atonement. The blood of one goat was taken by the High Priest into the Holy Place to the Ark of the Covenant. On the top of the Ark of the Covenant was the Mercy Seat. Over that Mercy Seat were two cherubims beaten out of pure gold. Between the wings of those cherubims was the Glory of God. The blood from the goat that was sacrificed was applied to the proper place which was the Mercy Seat. If the blood did not get to the Mercy Seat, then it was the proper price, but not paid to the proper place. It would have been no more valid than that check written but not paid to the creditor.
If the blood of Jesus was left on the ground at the cross, that means it did not get to the Holy Place and is not valid. "What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." It is not just the blood shed, but also the blood applied.
God told Moses to instruct the people to apply the blood of the lamb at the Passover. When He passed over and saw the blood of that lamb, He would withhold His judgment. God did not judge them based on His omniscience. He made a point of letting them know that He would not judge them only when He saw the blood. It was not enough that the blood was shed. The blood had to be properly applied.
