It was reported in the news that a female journalist named Costanza Miriano in Europe has authored a controversial book titled, “GET MARRIED AND BE SUBMISSIVE” based upon the Bible. May I say, there is no controversy if you believe the Bible. She is correct. Miriano writes:

She further advises women that when dealing with their husbands in a marriage: "You must submit to him. When you have to choose between what he likes and what you like, choose in his favor…when your husband tells you something, you should listen as if it were God speaking."

Miriano, who has been married to her husband for 15 years, further explained to her readers that: "A husband can't resist a woman who respects him, who acknowledges his authority, who devotes herself loyally to listening to him, to remaining at his side."

I love what she teaches in her book. Miriano tells women that if they are not good at cooking and fall short as a homekeeper, humbly go to the husband and tell him he's right. If your husband scolds you for not being a better cook or for not getting the house clean. She asks... what's so wrong with just agreeing with your husband and humbly saying “YOU'RE RIGHT and I'm going to learn and do better as a wife to please you.”

Some feminist-minded women refuse to walk on cracked eggshells in the name of love to maintain peace on the homefront (their marriage). Ladies, you represent the Holy Spirit in the home. Amen!

A struggling wife should go to her husband if he's upset and humbly ask, “What would you like me to do?” Any good husband will see his wife's submission and want to help her and change himself...

"If you're not an experienced cook or the perfect housewife," she explains in the book, "what's the problem if he says so? Tell him he's right, that it's true, that you will learn. Seeing your sweetness and your humility, your effort to become what he wants, he will also change himself."

This is 100% Biblical. 1st Peter 3:1, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives.” Every real man wants sweetness, humility and submission in his wife. That's what men look for and need. Men are natural problem solvers and like to feel needed, whether needed to repair something or figure out the best way to reorganize the home.

In response to angry feminist critics, hussies and she-men, Miriano wisely replies...

Responding to a question on why some women were so angry about the book, she said: "Maybe we are not free from the need to be recognized. When a woman is completely at peace with herself, is completely fulfilled, she doesn't need to be recognized and she can take a step back, not in the sense of being a doormat but of being completely able to be the column."

As a Christian man, I am always encouraged to see good women standing by their man (i.e., their own husband) in submission, showing humility and wisdom, fulfilling the Bible's command for women to “submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord” (Ephesians 5:22).
