Galatians 3:16, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Look at our text verse. Clearly, the Jews are not
the “seed” unto whom the promises were made. God didn't make the
promises to “seeds” (plural), but unto Abraham's “SEED” (singular), which is
Christ alone. The Jews have no right or entitlement to the Promised Land
today. The land belongs to Jesus Christ!!!
There is much debate and confusion in our churches today concerning the Jews and the nation of Israel. The study of Israel has been a difficult one for me, because I was raised up to support Christian-Zionism (as have most of us in Baptist churches). I first had to extricate myself from the deception I had been taught, and then I needed to accept the truth.
May I say, there is no such thing as “Christian Zionism,” any more than there
exists “Christian abortion” or “Christian adultery.” Zionism is of the Devil.
I realize that the word “Zion” is in the Holy Bible, which simply refers to
the city of Jerusalem; but there is no teaching about a manmade “Zionist
movement” to restore Jews to their homeland. God said that He, and He alone,
will regather a remnant of believing Jews when He returns, and not before. All
of the believing remnant will be saved.
Unbelieving Jews Have Absolutely No Right to the Promised Land Today
Hebrews 3:16-19, “For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”
Most of the Jews whom God led out of Egypt, died in the Wilderness, having never entering into the Promised Land. The reason why is clearly stated in Hebrews 3:19b, “THEY COULD NOT ENTER IN BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF”!
However, the next generation, raised up by faithful Joshua, did have faith, and so God permitted them to enter into the Promised Land. But as time passed, the children of Israel disobeyed, and in 722 BC Assyria carried away northern Israel captive.
The Northern Kingdom of Israel was conquered by the Neo-Assyrian monarchs, Tiglath-Pileser III (Pul) and Shalmaneser V. The later Assyrian rulers Sargon II and his son and successor, Sennacherib, were responsible for finishing the twenty-year demise of Israel's northern ten-tribe kingdom, although they did not overtake the Southern Kingdom.[1]
Then in 586 BC, because of the Jew's disobedience, Nebuchadnezzar carried away the southern tribes in Jerusalem captive for 70 years to Babylon. Then the Jews repented in captivity, and God brought them back 70 years later into their home land.
Centuries later, during the time of Christ, the Jews rejected their Messiah, and just as Jesus Christ prophesied, their house was left unto them desolate in AD 70 (and they were scattered throughout the world) by Rome. So we see a pattern that when the Jews obeyed God, they were put into the Promised Land; but when the Jews disobeyed God, they were removed from the land. Did the Jews believe in 1948? No, they didn't. Do they believe today? No, less than 2.5% of Israel's citizen's today profess faith in Jesus Christ!!! Thus, present-day Israel is totally manmade, put there by Luciferian Masonic Jews, and not by God.
God did not give Israel the land to use as a den of iniquity for committing abortion, false religion, sodomy, perversion and abortion; but to be a light unto the Gentiles and serve God!!! Professed Jews today still spit on Jesus Christ, and so they have been removed from the land since 586 BC. They will not be returned to the land, until they repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ at His Second Coming (Hosea 3:4-5)!!!
Thankfully, God is an abundantly merciful God, a God of second chances, Who promised the Jews to pardon their sins and restore them to their homeland, BUT ONLY IF THEY REPENTED AND OBEYED HIM:
2nd Chronicles 6:36-40, “If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; Yet if they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly; If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name: Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee. Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.”
So we learn that God's promise to Abraham's descendants was always CONDITIONAL.
Unsaved Jews Are Aliens and Strangers to True
Israel and God's Promises
Jesus denounced the unbelieving Jews, telling them that they were not Abraham's children:
John 8:39-44, “They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”
As you just read, Jesus plainly taught that if God were the Jew's Father, then they would love Jesus Christ!!! In God's eyes, unbelieving biological Jews are not true Jews, because they are not Jews “inwardly” by faith (Romans 2:28-29).
All saved Gentiles and Jews are spiritual Israelites! The Gentiles were once aliens and strangers to God's promises and Israel, but by faith in Jesus Christ all Gentiles are now the children of Abraham:
Ephesians 2:11-13, “Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
As you just read, nearly everyone who lives in the manmade nation of Israel today, are foreign aliens and strangers to true Israel and the promises of God, because they are unbelievers who are without God in the world!!! YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!!! (John 3:3)
