In May, Lambesis was sentenced to six years in jail after pleading guilty to paying a San Diego police officer posing as a hit man $1,000 to kill his wife.
Speaking to Alternative Press in the days leading up to his sentencing, Lambesis described a Christian band circuit where phony faith was prevalent. He said, “We toured with more 'Christian bands' who actually aren’t Christians than bands that are. There you have it, right from the horse's mouth! Mr. Lambesis admits that he is an atheist, and faked his profession of Christian faith to sell records. Dave Mustaine, Alice Cooper and Brian “Head” Welch also come to mind. These are evil men, who lie and deceive naive and gullible people into believing that they are “Christians.” I have been warning people and will continue to do so... ALL ROCK MUSIC IS OF THE DEVIL!
In a Score Music magazine (now defunct) interview from November of 2005, band drummer Jordan Mancino stated:
“You know, what's weird is that a lot of people don't know that we're a Christian band.”

Why would it be “weird” that people wouldn't think they're Christians—These imposters flash satanic El Diablo (Spanish for “the Devil”) hand-signs, their fans flash satanic hand-signs, they promote all manner of wickedness and lewd perversion, they curse in God's holy name, they blaspheme and perform with Ozzy Osbourne, et cetera. It would be “weird” if someone actually thought they were Christians. Remember, even the Devil transforms himself into a fake Christian (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). Please don't be naive, someone is not a genuine born-again Christian just because they claim it. This is important for you to understand, lest you be led astray into a false religion, or by a false prophet, or follow the coming Anti-Christ. The heavy-metal Rock band, “As I Lay Dying,” were always of the Devil, just as I warned everyone for many years!
Some of the most hateful e-mails I have received over the years, has been from angry fans of CCM conmen like As I Lay Dying. Well, they don't have anything to say now, do they! When his world fell apart, Tim Lambesis openly admitted that he and the rest of the band are actually atheists, and they lied about being Christians to sell records. Please don't miss that!!! They lied to sell records! They falsely professed to have faith in Jesus Christ, when in reality they were serving Satan!!! The entire CCM industry is of the Devil. Here's some sickening information about the lucrative CCM industry. CCM is a dirty business!!!
Millions of people get emotionally high on Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), elevating their feelings into the stratosphere, while the world goes to Hell without ever hearing THE GOSPEL preached! I triple-dog-dare-you to show me even one mainstream CCM artist, who presents a clear and uncontaminated presentation of THE GOSPEL on their website. I'm so sick and tired of hearing fake Christians brag about how CCM changed their life! CCM executives are making hundreds-of-millions of dollars by duping people that they need religious music to change their life. That's so foolish! Only the Word of God will change your life for eternity!!!
Our text verses is from Proverbs 12:5, “The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.” Young people, the Devil wants to destroy your life with Rock music! I am telling you the truth... THE THOUGHTS OF THE RIGHTEOUS ARE RIGHT!!! You cannot go wrong by agreeing with God in His Word! God is always right!!! Rock music is of the Devil. And for that matter, today's Country music is just as bad, even more dangerous than Rock music because it targets Christian youth. Any music that is sensual, or is associated with promiscuous music videos, or promotes the sins of adultery, pride, reckless behavior, divorce, drunkenness and revenge is of the Devil.
CCM is dangerous because it is a bridge to the world. CCM singers are false prophets!!! Their lyrics are extremely vague. Young people are often drawn into CCM by the fleshly appeal of the music, not the edifying words of the lyrics. Other are corrupted over time, as the singer's character deteriorates. Millions of Christian youth have been led down a progressive path of worldliness and spiritual ruin because of influential artists like The Oak Ridge Boys, Carrie Underwood, Sandi Patty, Amy Grant, The Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry and other fakes who began singing Gospel music, and then sold their soul to total worldliness!!! In some cases the words are acceptable, but the singer's vocal inflections are sensual, as if being sung in a marital bedroom scene. This is sinful. CCM phony Crystal Lewis sings in a creepy video of her sitting on a big bed. It is highly sexually suggestive, but her warped fans would still deny it even if she appearing in her underwear in the video under a pile of men.
Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying proves what faithful Christians have known for a long time, which is that, the CCM industry as a whole is of the Devil. It's all about filthy lucre, the love of money! Check the salaries of CCM radio station, K-Love's executives, who make millions of dollars! CCM as a whole is a billion-dollar industry in America! Wherever there is money involved there is almost always corruption!
And please notice again what Tim Lambesis said:

I'd be surprised if even 1-in-10 CCM artists are really saved at all. If you're not a born-again believer, you're NOT a Christian! Thus, Roman Catholics are NOT Christians. Catholics trust in keeping the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic church to get into Heaven. Catholics trust their priests to absolve their sins, which is impossible, because only God can forgive sins. Catholics trust in faith PLUS WORKS to get into Heaven, which is a false Gospel (Romans 11:6; Ephesians 2:8-9). Most CCM artists are either Roman Catholic, or they hobnob with Catholics and their music is so vague that unsaved Catholics support it.
By the way, I'm tired of hearing worldly Christians claim that there are saved people in the Catholic church. If there are any saved people in the Catholic church—they are not right with God, they are fraternizing with God's enemies, they are very sick spiritually, and they are being convicted continually by the Holy Spirit that they are abiding in the house of Satan!!! Personally, I seriously doubt if there are any Christians who attend Roman Catholic hellholes! When Christians talk stupid like that—saying that there are saved Catholics, they are downplaying the wickedness, satanism and demonic nature of the Roman Catholic religion. Catholicism is not a New Testament Biblical church; but rather, it is a satanic cult!!!
It is refreshing for a change to hear someone in the CCM industry admit THE TRUTH! CCM is of the Devil and at least 90% of them are total fakes, phonies and liars!!! I'm sad to read about Tim Lambesis' calamity. I am not happy about that. I just prayed for Tim and I hope this dark chapter in his life will lead to repentance, so that he will forsake atheism and come to Jesus Christ by faith to be saved. Young people, beware of the fake Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) industry.
I am not endorsing any type of worldly music, but I think you'd be better off listening to AC/DC and the world's secular music, than to listen to a bunch of liars and fakes who masquerade as Christians. AC/DC is of the Devil, no doubt, but at least they don't try to hide it! AC/DC sings their hit songs, “Highway To Hell” and “Hell's Bells.” But at least we know where they stand—they are paying their dues to the Devil by playing in a Rock 'N' Roll band! In sharp contrast, contemptible so-called “Christian” artists like: As I Laying Dying, Dave Mustaine, Alice Cooper, Amy Grant, Toby Mac, Brain Welch, The Jonas Brothers and Steven Curtis Chapman, to name a few, pretend to love God while pulling on the same rope as the Devil. James 4:4, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
