2nd Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.”
We are living in woeful times of apostasy when people don't want to hear a hell, fire and damnation preacher. Even professed Christians, Independent Baptists, won't tolerate a Jack Hyles type preacher who takes an uncompromising stand against sin. Look at Bob Jones University's (BJU) most recent 2013-2014 Student Handbook and it allows female students and staff to wear pants. They're permitted to wear “dress pants” to church. What apostasy!
May I say, the Bible doesn't just set Christian standards by prohibiting women from dressing immodestly (1st Timothy 2:9), but also forbids dressing like men (Deuteronomy 22:5). Pants are historically worn by men, period. Any child knows that. Women wear dresses. What if bathroom signs had a picture of two people wearing pants? How would you know which bathroom is for men or women? Shame on Bob Jones! It is human nature to always push the mark, that is, challenge the standard. I've visited Bob Jones' graduate churches and many of the women wear sexy tight pants, painted on slacks and halter tops (Bob Jones also allows halter tops). Our nation's Bible colleges are dipping-their-sails in sinful compromise to attract more worldly students (and they're coming).
Did you know that the Mormon Brigham Young University forbid women wearing pants until 1981. Now Mormon girls can wear pants. Bob Jones University is no better in their moral standards than Brigham Young University. It's really a shame that Apostolic Pentecostal women always wear long dresses and have long hair, while our Baptist colleges are following the world's ungodly standards! It's high time for Christians today to start moving more toward the right instead of the left!!!
So what's the problem with our churches today? The answer is very simple... preachers aren't preaching the Word of God as they should. 1st Timothy 2:9 doesn't include pants on women. The bull crap in Bob Jones' Student Handbook says “pants ” in one sentence and then “loose pants” in the next. There's not a dime's difference between the two. Pants are pants. That's like saying it's ok to smoke marijuana, but don't inhale. Who's kidding who? A beautiful young woman who's wearing loose pants is far more seductive than if she wore a long dress in public. And I've yet to see any loose pants on women that weren't nearly as revealing as tight pants. When a women bends, sits and moves around in pants, whether loose or not, her bodily shape is exposed.
The big question is: Why wouldn't a professed Christian Bible college want to maintain the highest moral code possible? Why follow the world. In the year 1900, no such wickedness would have been tolerated. THE UNCHANGING CHURCH IN A CHANGING WORLD (a great MP3 sermon by Dr. Harold Sightler). If someone had suggested allowing women to wear pants at Moody Bible Institute in 1886 when they started, or Bob Jones University in 1927 when they first opened their doors, that person would have been reprimanded for their indecent proposal. Yet, today these once great Biblical institutions are going the way of Balaam, pursuing mammon rather than pleasing God. Do you think God is more pleased with a long dress or a loose pair of pants on a woman? A dress, of course! The very idea of women wearing “dress pants” (which is totally feminist in origin) is wickedness.
Moody Bible Institute has gone to the dogs lately too, lifting a century old ban on booze, smoking and gambling. John Wesley was correct when he said, “What one generation tolerates the next will embrace.” No wonder today's churches are filled with beer drinkers, cigarette smokers, Las Vegas casino gamblers and whores wearing pants, et cetera. Why keep lowering the standards? It is a tragic shame that unsaved Mormons have much stricter moral standards than America's Independent Fundamental Baptist Bible colleges! Think about that!!! Shame! Increasingly, I hear Baptist Christians speaking criticism toward militant fundamentalism. The so-called “new school” of thought is utter apostasy. God give us the old-time Christian faith.
I listen to lots of preaching. I love preachers and preaching. I listen to all types of preachers, some fiery and others dry, but all men of God teaching the Word of Truth. I love all preachers who say it like it is. Preaching helps you and me think right. Of course, nothing should ever replace the undiluted Word of God in our personal life, and our ability to think for our self.
One of the biggest problems with the churches today is the replacement of preachers with Christian leaders. Leaders don't preach! It has become popular to have shared pastorates, where a group of men run the church instead of having one man of God, the preacher! And God forbid, apostate so-called churches have his and her pastors, which is wrong. All women preachers are false prophets! Women may quietly serve under men in a Church, but must never usurp authority over men. Joyce Meyers is a false prophet. She seats the women up-front and puts the men further back. What a sham!
I have more respect for a preacher who takes a stand, who is wrong, than I do for a milquetoast preacher who compromises and won't stand for anything because he's greedy, a coward or wants to avoid persecution. I recently listened to an Independent Baptist preacher that made me want to vomit. The sermon was a blessing, except he kept saying, “I heard John MacArthur teach this,” and “MacArthur said that” and “MacArthur also said this.” MacArthur, MacArthur, MacArthur! Man, shut up!!! Literally, in a one hour sermon he must have mentioned John MacArthur 15 times! That tells me that the preacher speaking hasn't been thinking for himself; but rather, he is riding on the coat-tails of John MacArthur. It's ok to follow a man who is following Jesus (1st Corinthians 11:1).
I shuddered, realizing that most people listening to him will be led astray to follow MacArthur's heresies, buying his corrupt books, adopting his satanic teaching which denies the Lord's blood on the mercy seat in Heaven, his teaching of works-salvation and heresies of John Calvin. MacArthur is a boastful 5-point Calvinist! He believes in predestination to salvation, limited atonement, irresistible grace and the perseverance of the saints to be saved. The heresy of Lordship Salvation is rooted in the heresies of Calvinism and Roman Catholicism (both require works to be saved). Biblical salvation is by God's grace through faith alone in Christ's payment on the cross for our sins, and does NOT require any human effort to cease from living a sinful life as John MacArthur teaches. False prophets make salvation hard!

The Holy Bible warns against satanic deception in the churches...
2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
Dr. Jack Hyles explains from the Bible how the Devil sneaks into churches with false doctrines...
SOURCE: Dr. Jack Hyles, quote from the excellent book titled, THE CHURCH, chapter 24, How the Wall of Separation Is Broken Down -By Pastor Jack HylesWe need to be right on the man of God, the word of God, and the plan of salvation. The false teachers mentioned in II Peter are unsaved people who were trying to bring something other than the true Gospel from the true Word of God.
The word privily means, to sneak in somebody or something. It means that something is hiding behind something else in order for it to also get in. In this passage we see that damnable heresy had snuck in by hiding behind something that was not a damnable heresy. These false prophets have a false doctrine they want to spread. They know we will not accept it, so they hide that false doctrine behind one with which we do agree.
For there are certain men who crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 4
The phrase crept in unawares is used for two things in the Bible.
1. It is used for masquerading. It is false teaching being masqueraded.
2. It is used as entering in the side door.
Dr. Hyles is exactly right! The Devil's crowd sneak their lie of Lordship Salvation into the church behind a truth. The Devil knows that the best place to hide a LIE is between two TRUTHS! Lordship Salvationists all claim to believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. That's the truth that they hide their lie behind. The lie is that believing on the Lord is insufficient to save, but that some degree of works are also required to validate that faith.
The truth is that they don't really believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone; otherwise they wouldn't claim that turning away from sinful behavior is necessary for salvation. They all completely butcher the Bible. Here is Ray Comfort's butchering of Matthew 7:22-23. When you believe on Christ to be forgiven of your sins, you have turned from your sins, in the sense that you acknowledge your sinnership. That's all God expects. The Old Testament law shows us our sinful condition in God's sight (Romans 3:19), and then points us to Christ for salvation (Galatians 3:24-26).
The only sin that you need to literally cease from is unbelief, which is the only sin that can keep you out of Heaven. In fact, the Lord will even save you in spite of some unbelief, just so long as you act upon your belief and receive the Gospel as full-payment for your sins. Faith is NOT optimism, that is, a positive outlook. Faith is trusting the Lord. I don't have to be 100% convinced that a chair is sturdy enough to hold me up to place my faith in it. I just have to get up on that chair to trust it. Likewise, all the faith you need to be saved is JUST ENOUGH to call (petition, rely) upon the name of the Lord. Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Lordship Salvation has crept into many Baptist churches, corrupting the simplicity that is in Christ. If a person must cease from sinful bad habits to be saved, then salvation becomes extremely difficult and complicated. It certainly is no longer a free gift. Who can forsake their sins? That's right, no one! All you can do is exchange drunkenness, fornication and selfishness for pride, arrogance and self-righteousness. Some of the most religious people are the most sinful, they just don't see it, because they are blinded by their religious life. God is not impressed with anyone who lives the Christian life, unless you've been washed in the blood of Jesus and are trusting solely in God's righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ to save you.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” —2ndTimothy 3:16
