The Precious Eternal Words Of God
by David J. Stewart | November 2019 | Finished December 2019
Psalms
119:89, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Luke 21:33, “Heaven and earth shall pass away:
but my words shall not pass away.”
I woke about at about 4:15 am this morning, feeling lonely. I generally sleep well, in lieu of my neck and bodily pain, even though some nights are rougher when my radiating razorblade-like pain (radiculopathy and stenosis) aggravates my arms and legs. As I pondered the shortness of life, the sorrows and loneliness in my life, and being a bit down and sad, I suddenly had a wonderful thought that cheered my heart—GOD'S WORD ARE ETERNAL!!!
God's inspired Words will NEVER EXPIRE, NEVER BE CORRUPTED, NEVER RETURN IN VAIN, NEVER PASS AWAY, and NEVER GROW OLD! John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” What a beautiful truth! My soul was encouraged, as I stood firm in my faith upon the eternal promises of God in His inspired Word. What saith the Scripture? Romans 8:18, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” I can't wait! What a wonderful thing to look forward to! One of my favorite Bible passages is found in Romans 8:32, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Heaven is a wonderful place!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have the ETERNAL WORDS of almighty God set before us in the King James Bible. I am so sick and tired of ecumenical pastors today who endorse the Devil's modern Bible versions, which all remove the word “begotten” from John 3:16, remove every mention of someone “worshipping” Jesus, and pervert the meaning of repentance to mean “to change your life” instead of “a change of mind.” These modern versions are helping Satan BLIND “the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2nd Corinthians 4:4b). Anything that obscures the Gospel is of the Devil!
Everything in this life is temporary. I once worked with an elderly black man, who taught Sunday school in his Baptist church. Bishop worked in the parts department at our workplace. I was still in my 20's back then. I was a bit discouraged one night, and Bishop said something to me that I have never forgotten. He said: “Brother David, if you don't like the way things are, hang in there, because THINGS ALWAYS CHANGE; and if you like the way things are going, don't get used to it, because THINGS ALWAYS CHANGE!” I think that is a brilliant statement! My friend, THINGS ALWAYS CHANGE in this world, but praise be to God for the UNCHANGING ETERNAL WORDS OF GOD!!! Our holy and merciful God never changes! Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” God is predictable! Amen! In theology, the doctrinal word that means God cannot change is “immutable.” God is immutable!
ABOVE: A beautiful pure white rooster that I took a picture of in front of my place today. God is more than amazing! Mr. Rooster really stands out in the crowd, doesn't he? That white rooster makes me feel special to God, because God has made us all unique. Did you know that no two snowflakes are alike? That is amazing! How much more marvellous it is that no two humans are the same. There is only one you!
God's Unchanging Promise to Save Them That Believe
I once worked with a Muslim man, who despised me for my Christian faith. He laid his carpet down at work each evening, facing toward Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and prayed on his break and lunch to Allah. I felt sorry for him, because when I witnessed to him, he rebuked me for having the “arrogance” to say that I “KNOW” I am going to Heaven. You see, in Islam you just do your best and hope Allah is pleased with your life and religious devotion. Muslims live in fear and uncertainty, viewing God as capricious (i.e., by chance or impulse or whim rather than by necessity or reason). They live cautiously, so as to not provoke Allah to wrath. Is it any wonder that our precious Savior said in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” What a beautiful God and Savior! Praise ye the Lord!!!
As Christian believers, we can “KNOW” beyond any shadow of a doubt, presently, that we are going to Heaven. I don't hope; but rather, I HAVE A HOPE!!! Titus 1:2, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Muslims do their best and hope they make it; whereas, Christians rest in God's imputed righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” I love this Bible verse and truth!!! God never changes! The plan of salvation never changes! The way to Heaven has ALWAYS been through the only begotten Son of God, the promised Messiah, “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8b).
I once heard a preacher errantly teach that “the lamb” slain from the foundation of the world, refers to the lamb that God killed to make coverings for Adam and Eve. We know this is inaccurate, simply by reading the entire verse of Revelation 13:8, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” I don't think the animal slain by God to provide skins of covering for Adam and Eve, to cover their shame after they had sinned, has anything to do with the Book of Life. It was Jesus Christ—THE SINLESS LAMB OF GOD—Who was slain from the foundation of the world, crucified and risen in God the Father's mind before the universe was even created. God lives in eternity, man lives in time!
Millions of ecumenical churchgoers across the United States are fans of the popular radio station, K-Love, who are the biggest promoter of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). K-love rakes in over one billion dollars each year in revenues. I don't like listening to their radio station, because they are always begging for more money. How many billions do they need? There are a few Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) songs that I actually like (e.g. “Only A Mountain” by Jason Castro), but CCM is like a skyrocket that soars into the air, and while you're waiting for the big burst of noise and colors, there is nothing! I am not a big CCM fan, as my web visitors know, but I love music in general. CCM will catapult your emotions into the stratosphere, but leave you feeling empty! CCM woefully pales in comparison to the doctrinally-rich hymns of the Christian faith, written a century or more ago.
The CCM industry are spiritually barren! I do not know even one, and I mean NOT ONE, mainstream CCM artist today who shares the Gospel of free grace. If they do share some type of plan of salvation, it is always Lordship Salvation, which I hate and am unalterably against in Jesus' name!!! I am sick of Baptist churches who claim that they are doctrinally sound, while promoting these ungodly reprobates! Don't tell me you are correct on the Gospel if you promote Paul Washer, Ray Comfort and John MacArthur, because all those men add human effort to grace! I am not the bad guy for exposing these false prophets, who are infecting tens of thousands of churches with ANOTHER GOSPEL. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” The Devil is the enemy!

Finding Patience and Hope Through the Comfort of the Holy Scriptures
Romans 15:4, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” God gave us hundreds of biographies of Old Testament saints, so that through learning to be patient with God under all circumstances, we may find comfort from the Holy Scriptures. What a beautiful Bible verse! What a beautiful God. The Lord wanted to help us, to give us hope in our daily mundane lives, and often sufferings, by comforting us through the stories of what the saints lived through back then. We get to see their lives from even before they were born, until long after they were gone, and see how “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28b). Hebrews 13:6, “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
God didn't always approve of the behavior of the saints in the Old Testament. David held grudges. Samson chased unholy skirts. Noah got drunk. Lot got drunk and commit immorality. Moses had an angry temper. Abraham and Sarah laughed at God. Jonah fled God's will. Isaiah was a man of unclean lips. Jeremiah quit the ministry in discouragement. David commit adultery and murder. Solomon was a pervert. Saul had an ego problem. Jacob was a thief and a liar. Esau was worldly and vengeful. Lot's wife disobeyed God's angel by looking back at Sodom. Judah was an adulterer. Yet, God through the Scriptures gives us hope and comfort, by showing us that He still uses and blesses saints despite our sinfulness, weaknesses and human frailties. What a good God!!!
I want things to change in my life so much, feeling like I am in a long dark tunnel it seems, lonely beyond words oftentimes; but the best thing to do when in this situation is to “WAIT UPON THE LORD.” Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” I have decided to just bunker-in as “a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2nd Timothy 2:3) and HAVING DONE ALL TO STAND! Ephesians 6:13, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” I love Jesus and am going to hang in there by His grace, no matter what! Psalms 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Deuteronomy 33:27, “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.”
The Unchanging Truth
I LOVE TRUTH!!! 2nd Thessalonians 2:10, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” The “LOVE OF THE TRUTH” in the preceding verse is the blessed GOSPEL. John 3:21, “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
The blessed truth, which compelled me to rise up from my sleep and write early this morning, is simply that GOD'S ETERNAL WORDS AND PROMISES WILL NEVER FADE OR GET OLD, AND ANYBODY CAN CLAIM THEM AS THEIR OWN!!! Luke 21:33, “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” What a comforting truth! This world and everything in it will ultimately pass away, but the inspired Words of God are eternal!!! I will be gone. You will be gone. Everything that you see around you will be gone. All that will remain is the eternal Words of God, and our souls for all eternity!!! 1st John 2:17, “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” John 6:66-68, “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” That is so precious!!!
Oh dear friend, you cannot escape the decision to receive or reject Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You may foolishly declare to be an atheist, and manage to live the remainder of your life in denial, but “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27). Jesus came to earth the first time nearly 2,000 years ago TO HIS OWN (the Jews), to die on the cross for the sins of humanity (everyone); but He is coming again soon FOR HIS OWN (the saints) at the Rapture, and then WITH HIS OWN (the saints) 7-years later at His Second Coming. ...
Hebrews 9:26-28, “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
Hallelujah!!! I am just going to trust the Lord. My mother always said that God works in mysterious ways, and He truly does. In my mind I often hear Pastor Jack Hyles singing an old Gospel song:
My Lord Knows The Way Through The Wilderness
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness,
All I have to do is follow.
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness,
All I have to do is follow.
Strength for today is mine all the way,
And all that I need for tomorrow.
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness,
All I have to do is follow.I love that wonderful uplifting song! It's message is simple and solid Bible truth. My Lord knows the way through the Wilderness. This song is referring to the desert Wilderness of Zin in the Old Testament, the place where the Jews wandered for 40 years as chastisement for not obeying God, to go into the Promised Land. When the 12 spies came back from spying out Jordan, only Joshua and Caleb had a godly spirit, trusting the Lord and desiring to go into the Promised Land. The people listened to the 10 skeptics instead, who bellyached and complained about all the reasons why they shouldn't have faith in God; and as a consequence, they were doomed to wander in a hostile desert Wilderness of snakes, drought and intolerable conditions for the next 40 years! If only they had obeyed God, they could have instead lived in plenty, blessing and happiness! Oh listen friend, the Devil is a beautiful liar!

God Unchanging Eternal Words
The happy thought which compelled me to rise from my sleep and write this article, is simply that GOD'S WORDS ARE ETERNAL!!! That is why I KNOW that the King James Bible is inspired. If our beloved King James Bible is no longer inspired (as sadly Hyles-Anderson College, Bob Jones University, Pensacola Christian College, and The Crown College falsely teach), then they cannot be ETERNAL WORDS!!! John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” I was so proud of Pastor Steven Anderson when I heard him preach that the King James Bible is inspired. I really love this man as my brother in Christ! Thank God for truth-telling ministers!!! We have the eternally inspired and preserved Words of God today in the precious King James Bible!!!!!!!
This temporary earthly world will pass away—trends will come and go, thrills will end, fads will fade away, people will be born and die, celebrities will come and go, everything that comes from the dust will return to the dust—but the inspired Words of God and the thousands of promises contained therein are eternal!!! Dear friend, if you obey God's eternal Words, as I have (i.e., the Gospel), then you too will have eternal life. What saith the Scripture? 1st John 2:17, “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” What is the will of God? I am glad you asked my fine non-feathered friend. John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Do you BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God?
Here's some photos that I took this morning while walking at Asan Beach Park, so I could share them with you...
ABOVE: I was driving down airport road in Tiyan and saw this beautiful full rainbow the other day. All I could do was stick my camera out the window and snap the shot, because I was stopped at a traffic light, and it just turned green. Is that a lucky shot or what?
I didn't take this next photo, but it is beautifully majestic, shewing forth God's omnipotence and greatness...
