One of the deadliest counterfeit Bible revisions is the
Easy-To-Read Version (ERV). It is one
of the top false Bible versions, which is damning men's souls to Hell.
Consider this horrible perversion of the Word of God from John 3:36. We'll
begin with the pure, blood-sprinkled, perfect, preserved, infallible,
inerrant, inspired, precious, King James Bible...
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB)—John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
Now here's the satanic Easy-To-Read Version (ERV)...
EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV)—John 3:36, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But those who do not obey the Son will never have that life. They cannot get away from God’s anger.”
Now here's the ungodly English Standard Version (ESV)...
ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV)—John 3:36, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
And finally, here's the popular corrupt version, The Voice (VOICE)...
THE VOICE (VOICE)—John 3:36, “Those who believe in the Son will bask in eternal life, but those who disobey the Son will never experience life. They will know only God’s lingering wrath.”
The King James Bible doesn't say “not obey,” it says “believeth not.” There is a drastic difference between not believing and not obeying. Trust and obedience are not the same thing! Certainly, believing on the Lord is to obey the Gospel (2nd Thessalonians 1:8), but to “obey” by itself means something completely different than to “believe.”
If a sincere person reads the ERV, ESV or VOICE, wanting to be saved, they're going to walk away errantly thinking that they have to obey Christ's commandments to be saved. That is works!!! Basically, they're telling you that the opposite of believing in Christ is not obeying Him! They falsely think a person must “obey” the Son to be saved. This is works for salvation!!!

Amen Brother!!! I don't understand pastors and churches refusing to criticize the false Bible versions. It is apostasy!!! Respectfully, Crown College and Hyles-Anderson College no longer stand for the purity of God's Word. They won't expose the Devil's Bible versions. Bob Jones University is spiritually dead, refusing to expose the Devil's Alexandrian Bible translations. The same is true of Moody Bible Institute, which has been spiritually dead for decades. None of these institutions champion the King James Bible. We'll, I'm championing THE BOOK, and by God's grace I plan to do so until I go home to glory, to be with my dear Savior and Lord!!!
