Bob Jones University Errantly Says God Couldn't Possibly Have Authored Only One Bible

       Bob Jones University is a shameful institution, who make light of the inspiration of God's Word. Here is their official doctrinal position on Bible versions...

Bob Jones University holds to the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible in the original manuscripts and that God has supernaturally preserved His inspired words in the totality of extant manuscript evidence.

The position of the University on biblical translations has not changed since the founding of the school in 1927. Although Bob Jones University does not hold to a King James Only position, and from the founder to the present administration, we have never taken the position that there can be only one good translation in the English language, we continue to use the King James Version (KJV) as the campus standard in the undergraduate classroom and chapel pulpit. Do you see something very wrong with their claim? I sure do! The Bob Jones crowd claim that there cannot be only one good English Bible version. So what are they saying then? Folks, how many Holy Bibles did God author? That's right—JUST ONE! So how can there be more than one “GOOD” Bible in any language? Shame on Bob Jones University! How can we have more than one “good translation” in English, unless God accepts variations in His Words? Think about it. Honestly, Bob Jones' leaders are talking theological insanity. They are effectively saying that God couldn't possibly have authored only one Bible!!! That is exactly what Bob Jones College is claiming, because if there couldn't be two different originals, then there absolutely cannot be two different copies!

Pastor Al Lacy is absolutely correct that: THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE ACCURATE TRANSLATION IN ANY LANGUAGE!

The horrifying truth is that Bob Jones University is promoting two drastically different, conflicting, ancient texts. Here is a helpful Bible version origin chart (here's a smaller chart). The saddest thing is that the Bob Jones crowd are an arrogant bunch, stiffnecked, full of wicked pride, and you cannot help them, “Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself” (Titus 3:11). They chuckle, mock, laugh and think Bible inspiration is a big joke, going as far as to call the King James Bible crowd “a cult” (as did Bob Jones III, who also endorsed Senator Mitt Romney—a member of the creepy sex-perverted Mormon religion) as U.S. President in 2007.

In his excellent 28-page book titled, “NIV: An In-Depth Documentation of Apostasy,” Dr. Peter Ruckman (1921-2016) rightly states concerning “dragons”:

XX. Deuteronomy 32:33. Case E: “dragons” is a no-no to a Laodicean apostate. There are no such things as “dragons” (Ps. 44:19, Jer. 51:37, Ezek. 29:3, Micah 1:8, Ps. 74:13, Isa. 27:1, etc.). All of these verses had to be altered, and so every Bible but the AV alters them. If you are a “King James Only” fanatic (a term coined by Bobby III to cover up the sins of his faculty members), you have the only Bible in English on this earth that says “dragons.”

Unbelief suggests that “dragons” are not real and so “jackals” are more appropriate. Job must have been hallucinating while under great distress and pain from the suffering he was going through. After all, these modern Bible “scholars” have never seen a dragon before, so they must not exist, right? So this word must be changed otherwise it might embarrass them among their intellectual infidel peers. Some even mistake owls for ostriches! How wonderful to go hunting with these people!

That is exactly why these same infidel modern Bible scholars remove God's promise from Psalm 12:7 to “preserve” His “PURE WORDS” mentioned in verse 6. All of the corrupt modern versions change verse 7 to say that God protects the saints, instead of preserving His very pure Words. They had to change this passage of Scripture, otherwise they couldn't explain why we have literally HUNDREDS of English Bible versions today. If God kept His solemn promise to preserve His “PURE WORDS” FOREVER, then those PURE WORDS must exist somewhere in the world today. Clearly, the existence of SEVERAL HUNDRED English Bible versions is not in harmony with God's promise to preserve His PURE WORDS forever! Psalms 12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”

Sweetly said, with powdered sugar on top, why does Bob Jones University support this Satanic garbage? I could just as easily refute Moody Bible Institute, Dallas Theological Seminary (Cemetery), East Texas Baptist College, or any one of thousands of apostate Bible institutions today across the United States, who trash out the inspired Word of God. Since BJU is still recognized as the bastion of fundamental Christianity in America, I respectfully “rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;” (Titus 1:13). Bob Jones University was the greatest Bible institution in America in their hey day, when “Dr. Bob” as they called Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) was still alive. Unfortunately, since Brother Jones went to Heaven in 1968, it seems that anything goes at BJU. What next at Bob Jones, a LGBT support group on campus? Oh wait, they already have that... it's MIND BLOWING APOSTASY at BJU!!! Oh my God in Heaven! What the hell is going on at Bob Jones University?

May I say, if all of the hundreds of Bible versions which exist today, had all come out of the closet at once, the churches would have been utterly alarmed, rejecting them all; but since these “versions” have been published one at a time for the past 138 years, Satan has succeeded in getting his corruptible seed into the churches. Oh listen dear friend, I just want to love God and my neighbour as myself. I make no money from my ministry websites, and love giving my heart away to others. It is my heart's desire to open the eyes of OTHERS with THE TRUTH! God knows my heart.

The Devil is an evil genius! In the year 1881, Satan introduced a “new” Greek Bible text to the religious world, through use of his servant's Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort. These unsaved Anglican ministers—both infidels, members of secret societies, heretics, and Bible-inspiration deniers—are the fathers of the modern Bible PERversions! Now, listen carefully dear reader—the Devil knew that by raising up a SECOND authority, to pitch against the time-proven FIRST authority of the inspired King James Bible, it necessitated a THIRD authority (which is modern manmade scholarship). Did you get that? Any time you have two authorities, a third authority is required to determine which of the first two authorities are correct. That was a genius maneuver by the Devil, in the ongoing spiritual warfare of this world. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” So now, because of Westcott and Hort's new corrupt text since 1881, Greek scholars have usurped authority over the inspired Words of God, telling us what is THE TRUTH! Even the Satanic Jehovah's Witness religious cult choose and use the Alexandrian text of Westcott and Hort. That should tell you something.
 

English Standard Version (ESV) Corrupts the Blood, Literally

If you understand the book of Hebrews, and the requirements for the Old Testament high priest's work of atonement, then you know that the blood of a young male lamb, without spot nor blemish, was required to sprinkled on the mercy seat in the holy place within the holy of holies. This sacred ritual was required by God to atone for the sins of the people for another year. These ceremonial laws, were a foreshadow of the heavenly realities completed by Jesus Christ—THE LAMB OF GOD! Thus, when Jesus resurrected from the dead, He could not be touched by human hands, lest the offering be corrupted. It was no different than if someone walked up and touched the high priest, for which God would have killed them instantly for doing so. The blood is a sacred thing!

With that truth in mind, it makes perfect sense what Jesus told Mary Magdalene when she approached Him after He exited the sepulchre...

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) - John 20:17, “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

Now look at what the ESV, which is allegedly “a literal translation” says (and if you'll check, this is exactly what ALL the modern corrupt Bible versions say too)...

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV) - John 20:17, “Jesus said to her, 'Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Jesus told Mary TOUCH ME NOT, lest the blood sacrifice by corrupted. That blood needed to be “SPRINKLED” on the heavenly Mercy Seat (Hebrews 12:24). The Devil's modern versions say that Jesus told Mary not to hold onto Him, to let Him go! If the interpretation I have given you is incorrect, then prey tell me why did Jesus need to go to the Father first, before Mary could touch Him? What was the reason? The answer is obvious if you study the Epistle of Hebrews. Truly, the English Standard Version is LITERAL GARBAGE...

Truth matters! The reasons why I harp on the Bob Jones camp are manifold, but primarily because THEY CLAIM TO BE FUNDAMENTALISTS! The sad truth is that BJU has CHANGED, going from being the citadel of fundamentalism in America in 1927 (their opening year), to today being the citadel of new-evangelicalism in America.
 

English Standard Version (ESV) Corrupts the Inspired Word of God

The Bob Jones camp are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. I stole that line from Billy Sunday. It's pretty good, huh? I speak THE TRUTH! Kindly, Bob Jones are helping the Devil. They really are! This is a very serious matter folks. I hope and pray that God will open the eyes of you dear friend, to see the ungodly wickedness of promoting corruptible seed. What saith the Scripture? Psalms 119:140, “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” God's Word is VERY PURE; but Bob Jones says there can be more than one GOOD English Bible. Uh, how does that work? How can you have TWO good Bible versions that contradict each other? What's that, you want an example you say. Okay, I'm glad you asked my fine non-feathered friend. Here you go...

Here is what the King James Bible says:

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB)—Genesis 3:16, “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

To the woman he said:

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV)—Genesis 3:16, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”

Whoa! The ESV says the EXACT OPPOSITE of the King James Bible!!! So which is it? I just quoted you the new edition of the ESV. WHAT HERESY!!! The King James Bible teaches that a woman's “desire” (Hebrew: teshuqah meaning “longing”) is “TO” (or towards) her husband. Kindly, just as a dog yearns toward its master, so doth a wife yearn toward her husband. And so also should a man yearn for his Creator, the living God. Women naturally long toward their own husbands. Regardless, both Bible versions cannot be correct! You can't just pick and choose which version fits you best!

ESV Corrupts the Gospel

But wait, it gets much worse, these modern PERversions corrupt and change the plan of salvation. Please consider carefully the following CONTRAST between the accurate King James Bible (KJB), and the corrupt English Standard Version (ESV) that Bob Jones University uses, sells and sanctions...

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB)—1st John 3:9, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV)—1st John 3:9, “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.”

By the way, I have a lot of love for the Bob Jones crowd, simply because they are Christians and I am one of them. Albeit, somebody needs to cry “WOLF!,” when counterfeit Bible versions creep into the churches. Somebody needs to cry “WOLF!,” when Lordship Salvation rears it's ugly head.

Every preacher's job is similar to the child's game—“Whack-A-Mole!” When John MacArthur rears up his ugly head of Lordship Salvation.,, WHACK-A-MOLE! When Ray Comfort starts rearing up his head with that unbiblical Lordship Salvation... WHACK-A-MOLE! That is the Bible-preachers job!!! WHACK-A-MOLE! WHACK-A-MOLE! WHACK-A-MOLE! When Bob Jones University endorses and promotes the Devil's counterfeit Bible versions... WHACK-A-MOLE! Amen and amen!

Respectfully, BJU has a problem, because there can in fact be JUST ONE GOOD ENGLISH BIBLE!!! The ugly truth that BJU is intentionally avoiding, is that today's modern Bible versions ALL originate from one of TWO conflicting Hebrew and Greek sources, which tells us right there that something is dead wrong. Since God only authored ONE SACRED BOOK, how can there be two ancient sources? Obviously, one of them is a Satanic fraud! I'll stick with the time-tested, inspired King James Bible, that the world has trusted and used since 1611.
