Today's Shallow Christians

1st Corinthians 3:1-3, “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”
The average church today is so shallow. It is sad to see a church with a
first-class music program, but second-class preaching. That is apostasy!
Even worse is when the senior pastor likes it that way. The sad truth is
that in many churches there is a group of people, longtime key members, who
control the pastor. They hired him. They pay him. They keep tabs on him.
They monitor everything he says and does. If they see something they don't
like, they kindly tell him, and he knows he'd better listen! Brother, it'll
be a cold day in Hell before any church board, pulpit committee, rich person
or deacon board tells me what, when, where and how to preach!!!
Not too long ago, I attended a local Independent Baptist Church for about a year, and boy were my eyes opened to the apostasy in churches today. The compromised church promotes Chicago's Moody Radio Bible ministry, which is totally apostate—promoting the heresy of Calvinism by promoting Dr. John MacArthur, supporting the modern Bible version craze, and teaching the heresy of Lordship Salvation!!! Please don't misunderstand, I love Independent Baptist churches (and any Biblical church. There's no such thing as “the Baptist” church) if they're truly FUNDAMENTAL, but they're getting hard to find. I nearly keeled over in March of 2015 when I learned that 20,562 Presbyterian ministers approved of same-sex PERversion. Billy Sunday would have thrown a fit, and a couple chairs too!!! That's 20,562 ministers in 10,083 churches!!!
There's an ungodly organization called, Affirming And Welcoming Baptists (AWAB), which is trying to unite Baptist churches with the homosexual agenda. IT IS WICKEDNESS!!! AWAB Find-A-Church—WICKEDNESS!!! (Baptist churches are adopting same-sex PERversion!). Homosexuality is a horrible sin, but more than just a sin, it is a DEATHSTYLE OF SIN!!! The homosexual agenda is deliberate sin, intentional sinning, which is EVIL!!! The Bible has nothing good to say about sin. America has become so wicked that people today are attempting to justify murdering children by abortion, homosexuality, public nudity, adultery, divorce, idolatry, stealing and all manner of evil.
Faithful Christians who hate evil and fight against the ungodly abortion industry are being called “nutty religious people.” Count me in as a nut friend. We'll see on Judgment Day in front of God in Heaven who's the nut!!! I promise you that the abortion crowd won't boast and tout with arrogance in that day! I promise you in that day that there won't be a grand reunion of homosexuals in Heaven, parading their filth with a smile, defying God's Holy Word, downplaying their wickedness as “love.” Job 20:5, “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” As we draw nearer to the appearing of the Antichrist (the man of sin), the world is going to plunge deeper-and-deeper into wickedness, returning to the deplorable spiritual condition of Noah's time (Matthew 24:37-39).
As I mentioned, not too long ago I attended a local Independent Baptist Church for about a year, and boy were my eyes opened to the apostasy in churches today. Although I tolerated their New-Evangelicalism because I wanted to help them, they refused to tolerate my fundamental Christian views. They confronted me on a Wednesday evening after handing the senior pastor a copy of Dr. Al Lacy's “NIV: The Antichrist's Bible,” and also “I Never Knew You” (.pdf) by Michael Bowen, which are both awesome books! Well, I might as well have handed them a Penthouse smutty magazine. In fact, if I had handed them a dirty-girly-magazine, they likely would have scolded me and said they'll pray for me, but I doubt if they would have told me to get out and don't come back. The truthful books that I gave those pastors scared them, because if church members read them it would open their eyes and expose their pastors as heretics. The truth hurts, but it needs to be said. I'm not going to stop preaching the truth to keep anybody!
I had also given a copy of I Never Knew You
to the pastor's son-in-law (an associate pastor in the church) one
Sunday evening at church, who after inviting me over for dinner the next day
on Monday with his wife, blew-me-off and never even explained why he
cancelled the dinner invitation. The book had greatly offended him. You
don't invite someone to dinner, and then just forget about them. People can be so mean.
That's OK, a seed of truth was planted in his mind. If exposing Rick Warren,
Ray Comfort and Paul Washer as heretics concerning salvation offends
someone, SO BE IT!!! I couldn't care less what people think if I'm preaching
THE TRUTH! We need preachers Brother! People think they're right with God
because they walk into a big fancy building called a “church.” Friend, if
you're religious group is teaching
Lordship Salvation, you're in a satanic cult, not a New Testament
church.
The unnamed church I mentioned uses a parallel Bible, with the King James Bible on one side, and the Easy-To-Read PERversion on the other side. Using two Bibles confuse all the members. The new Bible versions are deadly, and I'll tell you why, amongst many reasons. Those of us who grew up weaned on the King James Bible aren't at risk as much as newer converts today, because we can fall back on the sound doctrine of the King James Bible while reading the newer versions. But younger believers today who didn't grow up using the King James Bible, are much more vulnerable to the doctrinal corruption in the new versions. Mark my words, in the future the King James Bible will be retired in most of America's churches. It's already happening today.
I'm so sick and tired of churches and Bible colleges saying that they merely “prefer” the King James Bible, but they don't believe it is perfect and inspired. Or they'll say they believe it is preserved inspiration, but not word-for-word perfect. You'd be surprised how many pastors believe that the King James Bible is filled with errors. In reality, they support many of the new satanic counterfeit Bible versions, which blaspheme God and attack the dear Savior. Anyone who loves Jesus can see very quickly that something is VERY WRONG with the new Bible versions which attack His deity, remove the Godhead and diminish Christ's preeminence. As a born-again believer with the Holy Spirit living inside me, I discern that the King James Bible is God's inspired Word! It is the only Holy Bible that uplifts, honors and worships Jesus Christ!!!
I visit local bookstores and only the new perverted Bible versions are being sold, which nearly all remove the word “begotten” from John 3:16. In any church today using multiple Bible versions, the younger generation opts for the corrupt satanic Bible versions!!! If all you had was an NIV, you'd never know about the “Godhead,” because the new versions completely remove all three mentions of the word from Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. Only the faithful King James Bible retains the word Godhead. It is utterly sad and tragic that so many pastors today are woefully naive and indifferent concerning the Word of God. I care, do you? The problem is that our churches and pastors have become soft, comfortable, complacent and satisfied. I'M AT WAR WITH THE DEVIL!!! ARE YOU?
Is anybody listening? The Bible calls a preacher, a “soldier” (2nd Timothy 2:3-4). From what I'm seeing in our churches, they're becoming fun centers, social clubs and places of entertainment. Just like the Bible foretold, the time will come when people will not tolerate SOUND DOCTRINE (THE TRUTH). Exposing today's counterfeit Bible versions will get you thrown out of church!!! Refuting the heresy of Lordship Salvation will get you thrown out of church. I'm talking about Independent Baptist Churches (who are no longer FUNDAMENTAL). I say this in love, but truthfully.
In the aforementioned apostate church, some smart-Alec assistant pastor ask me if I believed people were getting saved through the New International Version (NIV). The answer is a resounding “NO,” and I told him why. The people who do get saved are saved from the King James Bible, never the NIV, because the NIV teaches a false plan of Lordship Salvation in Romans 10:9. Romans 10:9 has been corrupted in most of the new Bible versions. It is heresy in the new Bibles to teach that to be saved, a person must confess “JESUS AS LORD”! That's what the NIV teaches in Romans 10:9. You only need to receive Jesus as your SAVIOR to be saved, not your LORD. John 1:12, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” 1st Timothy 4:10, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
Also, the word “repent” has been redefined to mean “a change of life” instead of “a change of mind.” The Devil has subtly added works to grace in the new Bible versions, to deceive churchgoers (Romans 11:6). Tragically, most believers are so shallow today, because their pastors are so shallow, that they don't care about the issue.
Consequently, multiple plans of salvation have
entered into the churches. Brotherly love, church growth and unity have
superceded sound Biblical doctrine. This is more wicked than the infamous
John Wayne Gacy raping and murdering of 33 teenage young men. Gacy's crimes
were horrendous and unthinkable, but the crimes only endured a couple
decades; whereas tens-of-millions of victims will spend eternity in the
fires of Hell with Mr. Gacy, because their sinful pastor didn't care enough
about THE TRUTH to take a stand on the Word of God. If you think you had to
depart from sinful behavior to get saved, YOU DIDN'T GET SAVED!!! Eternal
life is a free gift (Romans 5:15; Ephesians 2:8-10), you cannot earn it nor
qualify for it.
If you don't have a King James Bible, you have a satanic counterfeit full of heresy!!! One of the main reasons I defend the precious King James Bible is because it teaches “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). If a person has to cease from sinful bad habits to be saved, then salvation becomes a very complicated and difficult matter. Any child can see that Lordship Salvation is of the Devil. Discipleship is a separate matter, which has nothing to do with receiving the free gift of eternal life, which is by faith alone. Salvation costs you nothing; but Discipleship will cost you everything! Don't mix or confuse the two!
Getting back to the shallow church I mentioned earlier, one of the longtime church deacons had pierced ears. This is where churches are at today! I'm far from perfect brother, and if there was a perfect church, they'd never accept me! But you don't make worldly men deacons. Nearly all the women wore pants, including church and school staff members. I had to pray before going to church, for God to help me have a pure mind at church, because of the problem of IMMODESTY IN THE CHURCH! If there's one place in the world brother, where you ought not have to struggle with lust because of inappropriately dressed women, it ought to be at church. Instead, churches today have become fashion shows to show off what you've got. Carnal women choose to showcase their flesh.
In case you weren't aware ladies, the Bible teaches that men are at war with the lusts of the flesh. You might want to remember that when you showoff your buttocks and thighs. 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” And this Scripture applies to women as well. I recently saw a laughable photo of Country singer Marty Stuart, an elderly man wearing painted-on black leather tights!!! Kenny Chesney is another pervert, who likes to attract homosexuals and whores at concerts with his skin-tight bluejeans. It is wickedness!!! Perhaps you say, “I don't like the way you're preaching!” We'll, neither does God like the way you're living! GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!!
It is sad to see a church that is reluctant to mention the word “HELL”! Ladies and gentleman, do we really believe that there is a horrible literal place called “Hell” that burns with fire and brimstone, where all mankind who dies in their sins without Christ will be punished forever and ever? The thought of an everlasting burning Lake of Fire ought to compel Christian believers to get busy for God. What are you doing to influence OTHERS for God???
When I
consider the hundreds of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) performers and
entertainers over the past 40-years, with their thousands of songs and music
videos, and the deafening silence concerning the Biblical Gospel, I am reminded
of the famous movie line... “I SEE DEAD PEOPLE” (pun intended here. This was
Haley Osment's famous line in the 1999 movie, “The Sixth Sense,” also
co-starring Bruce Willis). Well, I see spiritually dead people when I look at
the entire Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) industry. It's all about money,
and ecumenicalism is their agenda, corrupting the churches with worldliness and
leading them like lambs to the slaughter into the diabolical New World Order
(NWO).
For the Anti-Christ (the man of sin) to rise to power, the wicked world must receive him. This is why young people are relentlessly being targeted for spiritual extinction these days. Only an immoral, Christ-rejecting, worldly, ungodly generation will embrace the Antichrist. Things in the world are going to get much worse as the appearing of the Antichrist draws nearer-and-nearer each passing day. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!!!
Hardly any preachers have the courage to preach a Hell, fire and damnation sermon anymore, either because they don't believe in Hell or because they're hen-pecked by some pulpit committee that won't let them preach about Hell. Truly, the love of money is the root of all evil, just as the Bible warns in 1st Timothy 6:10. Shame on any church that fails to warn sinners of the coming eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire! Do we really believe in a literal Hell where sinners will burn, and burn and burn in torments forever and ever and ever? If we did, then we would warn people day and night as the early Church did. Acts 5:42, “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
You show me a church where the congregation isn't being fed and I'll show you a church with discouraged, frustrated and tired staff members, school teachers and faculty. A New Testament church cannot thrive spiritually on a great music program! They may get by with a minimum of Bible preaching and milquetoast sermonettes, but the people are going to be spiritually malnourished and stunted in their spiritual growth. It's like having a brown lawn that isn't quite dead yet, but it desperately needs hydration (a lot more than it hasn't been receiving). I feel sorry for a church body that ISN'T being fed properly by a genuine man of God who walks with God and has the fire of THE TRUTH burning in his soul. There's nothing worse than a pastor who doesn't have the fire of God burning in him. Every Gospel preacher who spends time abiding in the Scriptures ought to have a burning flame inside of him to PREACH THE TRUTH! I cannot help but PREACH THE TRUTH!!!
The reason why we have so many shallow believers nowadays is because we have so many shallow ministers (I dare call them “preachers,” because they're not preaching). You can tell a man's character by the company that he keeps! If your pastor hangs around the Billy Graham apostate crowd, and the Rick Warren apostate crowd, and the Pat Robertson apostate crowd, then he'll never be able to rise above the spirituality of that group. And if a pastor spent time in the Word of God walking with the Lord Jesus Christ, then he wouldn't associate with apostates like the ones I just mentioned (who are infamous for their love affairs with the spiritual whore of Roman Catholicism).
Bless God, He has given me (just a humble sinner, a nobody with a website) an open door to preach the truth internationally. Jesus said, Revelation 3:8, “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Amen! My ministry online is God's ministry, and it will continue as long as the Lord intends for it to continue. I thank Him every day and pray for that DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY TO PREACH THE TRUTH to stay open for as long as possible. But the door will NOT remain open indefinitely. Communism has infiltrated the United States. As I type, there are evil powers at work to censor and shut down websites like mine permanently. Truth is a very effective weapon against the Illuminati. A Colorado baker was just taken to court and ordered by the local wicked judge to bake same-sex theme wedding cakes for homosexual couples or face prison. With evil judges like this in power, how much longer do America's Christians have before they are silenced?

How Nations Are Destroyed, Christians are to blame for what has
happened to America, because we have stopped obeying the Bible. We haven't
humbled ourselves in prayer, nor have we sought God's face of approval by living
by obedient faith, nor have we turned from our wicked ways in our personal lives
as believers. Christians who sit around watching television are the same ones
who do NOTHING to fight against the Communist takeover of America, and we are
paying for it.
Satan's works of darkness can only thrive in the absence of light and a lack of Christian resistance. In the old days, the government feared the churches of America, because they were powerful and the mayors and leaders of most cities were members of some God-fearing church. Today you've got kooks, quacks and queers running everything, including many of our churches!!! The Last Days Are Here In 2014! (nudist churches where the congregation drops their pants). A shocking 18% of the Unitarian Universalist Church are professed atheists! Go figure!
God is not pleased with shallow believers. There's no such thing as “shallow Christianity.” Revelation 3:15-16, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” God wants us in or out! The Lord has no use for Sunday believers who never lift a finger to serve God. You'd be shocked if you knew how many believers think that “serving God” means going to church and singing. My friend, serving God means praying, fasting and preaching the gospel to lost sinners (Luke 2:37). Serving God means forsaking the world in order to follow Jesus Christ, because as you just read, God will vomit you up if you try to follow both at the same time! James 4:4, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” Joshua 24:15 says to choose whom ye will serve... as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
I'm not speaking about getting saved here. To get saved you simply need to acknowledge your sinnership and believe on the Gospel to be saved. The Gospel is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and raised up bodily from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). When I speak about serving God, I am talking about discipleship and fellowship, not sonship. It's important not to confuse the two, lest you trust in a false plan of salvation and go to Hell. We are saved solely by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, that is, Christ's righteousness! (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9).
You'll never become or stay spiritual by listening to today's apostate, shallow, radio and television preachers. Most of them couldn't preach their way our of a paper bag. Most of them are dry teachers, not flaming preachers, who have no business even being on the radio or television (and of course, they've all got something to sell or need your money). If you ever get serious for God, you're going to walk a lonely path, because most churchgoers are just going through the motions. I'd rather be dead than not be real. You can keep your shallow religious act, because I'm going to walk with Jesus in the Scriptures and be real. I'm sick of church deacon's wives who wear pants. I'm sick of beer-drinking believers. I'm sick of gossiping churchgoers (of course, they never call it gossip). I'm sick of television-watching believers who can't quote even a single verse of Scripture! Ladies and gentleman, it's time to get right with God and have a pure heart. It's time to stop playing church! There's a world around us that's going to Hell. It's up to us to warn them!

Shallow believers are content to be lukewarm, but I'm not! I've got to make up for fallen brethren. I've got to make a grade of “A” to compensate for other believers who are making an “F” in life. I've got to try harder because of others who aren't trying at all. I do it all for Jesus, because I love Him. If I don't warn the wicked, then who will? If I don't live right, then who will? If I don't let God work through me, then who will? Can you answer these questions for yourself? What are you doing for God? You're the only Jesus that someone knows. What do they see? It's time to stop being shallow and launch out into the deep, by getting real about soul-winning and living for the things above (Colossians 3:1-3). Luke 5:4, “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” I can hear the Lord saying... LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP, and I will make you fishers of men. The fields are ripe unto harvest my friend. The Lord is looking for more labourers (Luke 8:15).
