There is no Friend like the lowly Jesus, no not one! If you have submitted
to God's righteousness, through faith in Jesus Christ, then the Spirit of
Christ Who indwells you will never leave (Romans 8:9; Hebrews 13:5). If you
are saved, Christ will never leave you dear saint. And if you are not saved,
friend, then the Lord is earnestly waiting for you to repent and get saved
(2nd Peter 3:9). The Holy Bible tells us that Jesus is lowly in spirit, and
He extends an invitation to everyone to come to Him for rest of soul...
Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
What an awesome Savior! If you were to personally meet the Lord Jesus Christ, you would either walk away glorifying God or be angry at Jesus for offending you with the truth. You might be upset with Jesus for stepping on your toes, if He rebuked you for wrong thinking (as He did the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16-21), but after thinking about it for awhile (if you have an honest heart) you'd realize that Jesus cares about you. The Lord would rather tell you the truth (and risk losing your friendship) than to merely try to impress and get along with you.
Let's read our text Bible verse again. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” The grace of God that bringeth salvation is available to all men, if anyone wants it. The gift of eternal life is completely free. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Salvation is totally free, which God freely offers to ALL humanity without obligation. There are no strings attached!
Jesus cannot deny Himself, because He is faithful to all mankind. Jesus died a horrible criminal's death on the cross, paying a debt that He did not owe, because He loves us and wanted to pay our debt of sin that we simply could not pay! Some people would die for a righteous man, and a few people might even die for a good man, but who would die for a convicted criminal? Jesus, that's who! ...
Romans 5:6-8, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Whether you are saved or lost, the precious Savior is there for you! But dear unsaved friend, hear me out, if you die in your sins without Christ, that is where the trail ends! Jesus will be there for you until you leave this earthly life, and then you will be judged by God. Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Jesus gave His life to be your Savior. 2nd Timothy 4:10, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.” Have you received Jesus as your personal Savior dear friend? Simply BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!!!
There are no second chances in eternity! The Lord won't be there for you if you DIE IN YOUR SINS (John 8:24). Roman and Orthodox Catholics have foolishly been trying to pray loved ones out of Purgatory for centuries, but the Bible never mentions a place called Purgatory. Purgatory is a cruel hoax! It's Heaven or Hell, but God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell. 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” The choice is yours alone to make! How will you spend eternity, smoking or non-smoking?
