The End Of All Things Is Near
by David J. Stewart | May 2015
1st Peter 4:7, “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
The apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote 2,000 years ago that the end of all things is near (or “at hand,” from the Greek word eggizo, which means “to make near, that is, approach”). Although this Bible truth may seem strange now that two millenniums of time have passed, it makes perfect sense in view of the infinite endlessness of eternity. Time is running out. This earthly life will be over before you and I know it.
Listen to what the Word of God says in 1st Corinthians 7:29-31. ...
1st Corinthians 7:29-31, “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.”
As you just read, the Holy Bible teaches for us to get our priorities straight, focusing on eternity and not this temporary world. All that the flesh, the Devil and the world have to offer is only temporary, ending the moment that we breath our last breath of life. Our text verse from 1st Peter 4:7 reminds us that the end of all things is approaching. The end is in sight. The forming New World Order (NWO) is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy from Revelation 17:10-12, the 7th kingdom from which the Antichrist (the 8th shall arise to power). We are clearly living in the times of the feet of mixed iron and clay from Nebuchadnezzar's image, which the Babylonian king saw in a dream from God (Daniel chapter 2).
The purpose of this dream is for God to share His prophetic plan with mankind. Time was created by God as a means of letting His children know what events will happen next. Bible prophecy is history written in advance. Although we do not know exactly when Jesus Christ will return, or when the world will end as we know it, we plainly do know that we are living in the last phase of God's prophetic plan for the world. We are so blessed to live in this futuristic generation, enjoying all the modern advancements of medicine, technology and Biblical enlightenment.
The Bible contains 29% prophecy! We can understand the prophecies of the Holy Bible much better today than centuries ago, now that the hierarchy of the Illuminati is being externalised (revealed) to the world. That is, we can see clearly that Israel is “The Great Whore” of Revelation 17:18 and 11:8, instigating World War III as predicted by Masonic kingpin Albert Pike. Pike foretold that WW3 would begin in the Middle East between the Jews and the Arabs, and then drag the entire world into the conflict. Certainly, we don't use secular events and history to validate the Word of God, but it couldn't be more obvious to those learned believers who are not ignorant that the Beast system of the coming man of sin, the Antichrist, is almost completed. What Satan began at the tower and city of Babel, which God stopped for a time (Genesis 11:7-9), is now being finished within God's sovereign plan and will. As in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37-39), the world is once again uniting together in rebellion against the true and living God.
All the Fame and Fortune in This World is Very Temporary
On a shameful episode of Nick At Nite, featuring Jewish Roseanne Barr (who lives on the Big Island in Hawaii) and Tom Arnold, Mr. Arnold sings the blasphemous lyrics to the melody of the song Oh Suzanna . . .
Well I come from 6-feet under with a dead guy on my knee,
I'm heading down to Hades for to spend eternity!SOURCE: Actor Tom Arnold, 'Nick At Nite,' a clip from the documentary, Hollywood: The Satanic Agenda.
The reality, danger and eternal punishment in the fires and damnation of a literal burning Hell is a big joke to Hollywood. Actor Tom Arnold and his former wife Roseanne Barr mock God and the Holy Bible. Kindly, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes on Judgment Day when Roseanne and Arnold give account to God. The Bible says unbelievers are already condemned, because they reject Jesus as the Messiah (John 3:18; 1st John 2:22). Roseanne is a student of Satanic Kabbalah.[1] Roseanna was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, ground zero for the demonic Mormon sex-pervert cult. She describes her upbringing as, “Growing up Jewish among Mormons.” Roseanna has a net worth of $80,000,000[2]. At age 62, time is quickly running out for Roseanne Barr!!!
My friend, time is running out for everyone!!! Are you prepared to meet God? Have you been born-again? Are you serving the Lord Jesus Christ as a believer, or are you dead in the water as a disabled ship? Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold will indeed go “down to Hades for to spend eternity” when they die, burning in the Lake of Fire for ever and ever without hope!!! I say that with great sadness of heart, because no one has to go to Hell. It is a personal choice! All you have to do to go to Hell forever is NOTHING! Jesus plainly and sternly warned everyone in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
I am so glad that I am a born-again child of God, saved by GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS through faith in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:9; Romans 10:3-4; 2nd Corinthians 5:21). I have no self-righteousness of my own to offer God, and neither do you! (Isaiah 64:6). I would infinitely rather suffer in this life as a believer in Jesus Christ and then spend eternity in Heaven; than to enjoy all the fame, fortune and pleasures of this wicked world for a season, and then spend eternity burning in Hell. It is true that the life we live has no part in the gift of eternal life; however, it is also a Biblical principle that unrepentant sinners who refuse to acknowledge their sinnership WON'T come to Jesus Christ to be saved (John 3:20).
John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” Notice that the Bible says they wouldn't come, not they couldn't come. You don't have to give up sinning to be saved, but a refusal to acknowledge your guilt as a sinner in God's eyes will prevent you from coming to Jesus Christ (the light) to be saved. That's what repentance is, that is, changing your mind about sin and unbelief and coming to Christ to be forgiven and saved by believing the Gospel. Repentance unto life is a change of mind, not a change of lifestyle. The person who comes to Jesus by faith to be saved has repented. If a person hadn't repented, they wouldn't have come to Christ to be saved. The only role of repentance in salvation is to realize one's need for the Savior, and this requires becoming a guilty sinner in the eyes of our holy God (Romans 3:19). No one ever got saved who didn't know that he is a sinner.
Our Bodily Suffering Compels Us to Live for Jesus
I was listening to preaching today and I found a wonderful sermon online by a dear man of God named C.L. Roach. The name of the MP3 sermon is “SUFFERING SAINTS.” I couldn't find much information about him, not even his first name. Dr. Roach died in 2002 in Powder Springs, Georgia, where he pastored at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, but I couldn't find when he was born. I searched for an hour online for his biography, but couldn't find anything more than some very brief information. There will be millions of unsung heroes of the Christian faith in Heaven, whom the Lord used to make a great impact upon this world, yet who were obscure and unknown throughout history. Praise God for the faithful saints of God!!!
The sermon “Suffering Saints” particularly blessed me, because I suffer in agonizing toothache-like neck pain 24/7; and my extremities (arms and legs) continually have a feeling of tingling, puffiness, veins filled with air, and wearing imaginary gloves; and the right side of my body always feels half asleep, like dead weight after I sit for awhile and then get up to walk. Dr. Roach in his sermon preaches about those physically suffering, who no longer want to go paint the town and enjoy life as they once did. Dr. Roach preaches from the following text (verse 1). ...
1st Peter 4:1-7, “Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
My physical suffering (in constant neck pain) keeps my mind on the things of God. One of my favorite promises from the Lord in the Bible is found in Philippians 3:20-21, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” Whew! Hallelujah! No more neck pain, no more burning sensation throughout my body, no more tingling in my limbs, no more clumsiness, no more radiating razorblade pain in my arms and legs, et cetera!!! The Bible teaches us in 1st Peter 4:1 to be like-minded as the Lord Jesus Christ, using our bodily sufferings in the flesh for God's glory, Ephesians 5:16, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
I praise God for my normal health and functionality despite my ailments. God is good! My bodily afflictions are caused by medical problems with my spinal cord from Stenosis, Radiculopathy and Cervical Degenerative Disk Disease. These afflictions all began in 2004. Instead of “it came to pass” (a phrase mentioned in the King James Bible 452 times), my health afflictions CAME TO STAY. Here is a life-changing MP3 by Pastor Jack Hyles (world's greatest preacher) titled, what else, “IT CAME TO STAY!” Thank God, everything that has come to stay will eventually also come to pass at the end of this earthly life. THE END OF ALL THINGS IS AT HAND!!! Amen!
Whatever burdens, heartaches or afflictions you may be going through friend... IT WILL COME TO PASS if you are a born-again Christian. If you are not saved, you will merely go from the torments of this earthly life to the torments of Hellfire forever. Please don't go to Hell. Even if bodily afflictions, disease, amputations, blindness, divorce, imprisonment, burdens, heartache and shipwreck HAS COME TO STAY in this earthly life... IT WILL COME TO PASS!!!
If you consider the various beautiful Scripture passages which I have shared with you, it become very clear that God wants us all to depart from evil as believers, and to allow our sufferings to compel us to live for Jesus more and more each day, because the end of all things is quickly approaching. 2nd Timothy 2:19, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” Clearly, this Scripture teaches that departing from sin is not a requirement to receive the free gift of God, which is eternal life; but rather, it is our reasonable service as Romans 12:1-2 teaches. Every believer who associates them self with the holy name of “Jesus” ought to depart from a life of sin. 1st Peter 4:1 teaches us that even as Christ suffered in the flesh for us, so also ought we to use our bodily suffering as a motivation to cease from sin and live for Jesus.
Now, if a believer chooses to continue in sin, grace will abound. Romans 6:1, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” However, Hebrews 12:6-8 warns that our heavenly Father chastises and scourges His children. No one gets away with sin (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11). Although a believer can never be in danger of damnation and punishment of Hell, God does chastise (discipline) the saved when they go astray, because He loves us (Hebrews 12:6). God will judge the Church. 1st Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
The end of all things is near. The Forming New World Order evidences this truth. Nebuchadnezzar's image from a dream in Daniel chapter 2 evidences this truth. The world as we know it is going to end. But even if the Lord tarries His return, death could be lurking just around the next corner. Life is so short. If you'll learn to focus on the big picture of eternity in the Scriptures, then the burdens and irritations of daily life will pale in comparison. If you let Christ's mind be in you (Philippians 2:3-5), then you will begin to love everyone around you, focusing on their spiritual needs instead of their sins and personality faults. LIVE IN THE WORD, NOT THE WORLD!!! The Church on it's worst day is better than the world on it's best day!
Every believer ought to maintain an eternal perspective continually. The world lives for the now-and-now, like a stray dog going from one garbage pail to the next looking for food. As born-again, blood-washed, believers we must count the cost and realize what we have to gain or lose in eternity, by the life which we live now upon the earth. Many believers will weep bitter tears and have sorrowful regrets in eternity (1st Corinthians 3:15), because of a life wasted while here on earth, failing to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. The end of all things is approaching friend. Are you saved? If you are saved, are you living for Jesus?
THE END
