Luke
13:23-24, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he
said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for
many, I say unto you, will seek to
enter in, and shall not be able.”
I learned an interesting word tonight called SCAMPER! What in the world does
it mean to “scamper.” To “scamper” means “rushing about hastily in an
undignified way.” In other words, it won't be a pretty scene in
eternity when everybody and their dog are trying to enter into Heaven, but
shall not be able. What saith the Scripture?
Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait
gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to
destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.” And again, let us look at our
text passage again from Luke 13:23-24, “Then
said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say
unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” The
Bible is very clear that MOST people are not going to Heaven when they die.
Sadly, that means MOST people are going to
Hell. There is no where else to go. The unbiblical teaching of a place
called “Purgatory” was
a manmade doctrine fabricated by Roman Catholics in 593 A.D. by Gregory
The Great. According to the inspired Word of God, you either go to Heaven or
Hell when you die. The Bible is also very clear that MOST people will spend
eternity in the Lake of Fire someday. Matthew 7:13, “Enter ye in at the
strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to
destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.”
Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.” A picture is said to be worth a
thousand words. I think these pictures hold true to that saying...
Revelation 20:10-15, “And
the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and
ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which
were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged
every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Oh,
I can hear them now, exclaiming in panic before the Great White Throne Of
God—“But
Evangelist Ray Comfort told me that I needed to turn from my sins
continually to be saved!” and “Pastor
John MacArthur said I have to make Jesus the Lord of my life and fully
surrender and follow Christ to be saved!” and “I served you faithfully Jesus
and did many wonderful works in your name!” What saith the Scripture?
Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth
the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast
out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I
profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.” All over the world billions of people
have THEIR OWN WAY of getting to Heaven, following some lying false prophet
like Eli Soriano (Church of God cult) in the Philippines (who says Jesus is
not God), or follow the
Seventh-Day Adventist cult (who adhere to a form of Lordship Salvation),
or follow the satanic
Roman
Catholic religion who teach sacramental salvation instead of 'THE
GOSPEL.' Cult after cult, falsehood after falsehood, lie after lie,
these DECEIVERS will take billions of souls to Hell with them in eternity.
Have you believed a lie?
Eve Bought Into the Greatest Scam in
History!
Will
you be one of the many lost souls scampering on judgment day? Will you be
pointing fingers at today's popular preachers who corrupt the free gift of
grace, adding self-righteous works to faith? Every false prophet mixes lies
with truth to deceive you! Satan did this to Eve in Genesis 3:1. The serpent
deceived Eve in a few ways. First, he told Eve that she couldn't eat of any
of the fruit of the trees in the Garden of Eden, but that wasn't true. Read
for yourself in Genesis 2:16-17 that God said Adam and Eve could eat of all
the trees in the garden, except one, the Tree of Knowledge.
The serpent lied
again in Genesis 3:4 when he assured Eve that she wouldn't die the day she
ate of the forbidden fruit. Satan is a beautiful liar! The Devil always
shows you the neon lights of Sin City Las Vegas, but he doesn't show you the
hospitals, morgues and funeral homes. The Devil doesn't show you the
devastated people lined up along the sidewalks of Las Vegas, with their
heads buried in their hands in bitter tears, having gambled away everything
they owned and more! Satan lied to Eve using half-truths! It was true that
Eve would not die physically the day she sinned, but she died spiritually.
It was also true that God told Eve she couldn't eat some of the fruit, but
not all of it. Do you see how the Devil is subtle and tricky?
And then the granddaddy lie of them all told by
the serpent to Eve, was that she would become as God if she ate the
forbidden fruit. Well, she did indeed become her own god, in the sense that
from now she would make her own choices regarding good and evil, but what
Satan DIDN'T TELL HER (and here's the untrue part of the half-truth) is that
she wouldn't be equal to God in any omnipotent, omniscient or omnipresent
capacity, and furthermore, she would live and die by the consequences of
every decision she made! This was the greatest scam in history, considering
that Eve lost a perfect paradise! Never did someone give up so much for so
little! Eve could now make her own decisions, but Oh the misery, suffering
and burdens that it brought upon her and her whole family! Sin always
thrills and then it kills! Sin always fascinates and then it assassinates!
It is a good thing to fear God, and to live
moment by moment in the fear of God. Proverbs 28:14, “Happy is the man
that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into
mischief.” I already have enough to answer to God for in my life (Romans
14:10-12), so I
am careful every step I take, and every decision I make, to fear God and
keep His commandments. I don't always succeed in that goal, but I sure want
to. We live in 'A
Generation That Doesn't Look Up!' (an awesome MP3 sermon by Pastor Danny
Castle). Most people don't respect, regard nor fear their Creator, but a
wise person does. Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith
within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.”
Americans no longer fear God, evidenced by the prevalence of wickedness sin
our society today! The problem begins and ends with each individual person!
You are either part of the solution or a part of the problem. Today's
lackadaisical churches are so indifferent, complacent and spiritually dead,
that they are a part of the problem! In fact, THEY ARE THE PROBLEM!
Why is it that so many people fall prey to
false prophets? The answer is because of the sinful human nature, that is
haughty and proud, easily preyed upon by secular and religious humanism, by
hellbound intellectuals and anything appealing to the ungodly flesh. It made
good sense to Adam to sew fig-leaves together to cover the nakedness of him
and his wife, Eve. It made good sense to Cain to offer God the best grains
that his farms could produce. It made good sense to the 450 prophets which
stood against the God of Elijah, to worship the false god of Baal. It made
good sense to Solomon to allow his many pagan wives to worship the false god
of Moloch. It made good sense to Cornelius to impress God by his good works
of praying, fasting and giving alms to the poor. But these people were all
deceived horribly by the Devil, all hellbound in their sins! The highway to
Hell is paved with sincerity and good intentions. Proverbs 14:12, “There
is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of
death.” Repeatedly in the Scriptures we are warned that Satan is a
masterful counterfeiter (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15), the father of all liars
and murderers (John 8:44), and he will DECEIVE YOU! 2nd Timothy 3:13,
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being
deceived.”
As we draw nearer into the end times of the
world as we have known it for 6,000 years of human civilization, the Bible
foretold that MANY false teachers would rise. The Lord also said that MANY
PEOPLE WILL BE DECEIVED! Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets shall
rise, and shall deceive many.” The Bible
says that these false prophets will shew great signs and wonders. Matthew
24:24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect.” What kinds of signs and wonders? I tend to
think that these false prophets will not actually perform supernatural signs
and wonders; but rather, they will “shew” great signs and wonders. In other
words, they will make bizarre predictions (e.g., the “blood moons” we've
heard about in recent years) and say intriguing things that will entice your
interest to convince you. Remember that the term “con man” comes from the
words “confidence man,” that is, he gains your confidence through deception.
I could be wrong on that interpretation, but I don't think false prophets
will have miraculous supernatural powers from Satan.
The Scriptures teach us about “the mystery
of iniquity,” which I think refers to the coming Beast system (New World
Order) of the Antichrist, the “Man of Sin.” 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-10,
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will
let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and
shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is
after the working of Satan with all power and signs and
lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in
them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they
might be saved.” I think the phrase in verse 7, “only he who now
letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way,” refers to the
blessed Holy Spirit. Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982) is right, who said
that the media is the greatest power in this world next to the Word of God!
No wonder Lucifer is called “THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR”
(Ephesians 2:1-2).
The words “that Wicked” refers to the
Antichrist. The words “lying wonders” always reminds me of the woeful 9/11
deception. Talk about a LYING WONDER!
When Americans Fell For The 9/11 Deception They Lost Their Country
(by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts; there is
no justice!) Personally, I think the Sandy Hook shooting was
another Lying Wonder. According to
FBI statistics for 2012, no one died in Newtown, Connecticut. We know
that the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing was a lying wonder, that is, a staged
false flag terrorist attack. The evidence is overwhelming against rogue
powers at work within our U.S. government! The Bible warned us about this
“spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). Prolific author
George Orwell (1903-1950) said: “In a time of universal deceit, telling the
truth is a revolutionary act!” So right he was! Deceit is everywhere today,
especially in our churches concerning God's plan of redemption for mankind.
Grace is not “cheap” my friend, it is completely FREE! Jesus Christ has
already paid for your sins (and mine) with His precious blood on the cross.
Colossians 1:20, “And, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.” Isn't that a beautiful Bible
verse? Sure it is, if you are a redeemed child of God.
Please Don't Let the Deadly Sin of Pride
Blind You from Truth
I
am saddened by the level of arrogance that exists among professed Christians
today. Proverbs 13:10, “Only by pride cometh contention: but with the
well advised is wisdom.” Jeremiah 10:21, “For the pastors are become
brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and
all their flocks shall be scattered.” Love is the missing ingredient in
churches today. My Bible teaches that “God is love,” and 1st John 4:16,
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and he that
dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” When men
in the churches (particularly clergy) are too proud to acknowledge their
errors in doctrine, and their error in denying the inspiration of the King
James Bible, something is wrong with their with with God. Walking with God
saturates a man with love and truth. You cannot have one without the other.
Love without truth begets sinful compromise, indifference and apostasy.
Truth without love begets hatred, snobbery and apostasy. Jesus said that God
the Father must be worshipped in spirit and “IN TRUTH” (John 4:24).
Sinful pride hinders a man from acknowledging
THE TRUTH! Pride hinders a person from humbling themselves to SUBMIT TO
GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS to be saved (Romans 10:3-4). Our churches are rotting
with proud layman. Pride hinders a pastor from acknowledging THE TRUTH of an
inspired King James Bible. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) was a humble man,
despite his human flaws, which compelled him to love and acknowledge THE
TRUTH of an inspired King James Bible, going against 95% of his peers in
Baptist circles who deny Bible inspiration. Pride and self-deception are
brothers! A humble preacher sides with THE TRUTH, even though it may cost
him everything. I lost my church family at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in
2014, because I humbled myself to share THE TRUTH with their pastors, but
they were too proud to accept or acknowledge that truth, compelling me our
of their congregation. That injustice is on Harvest!
One of the most encouraging MP3 sermons I've
heard by Brother Hyles is titled: “Outside The Gate With Jesus.”
In the sermon Dr. Jack Hyles says, “Jesus has been outside the camp all the
time!” Amen! I am outside the gate with Jesus, rejected by the local
independent Baptist church, just as Jesus was kicked out of the synagogue in
Jerusalem. I know what Jesus felt like, counted as an enemy for simply
telling THE TRUTH. John 8:45, “And because I tell you the truth, ye
believe me not.” I know how Rudolph, the Red-Nosed-Reindeer, felt by not
being allowed to play in any of the reindeer games. Galatians 4:16, “Am I
therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” I just
wanted to come back to church, and be a part of a church family, and a
hospital for sinners (me for sure).
Unfortunately, with a loving heart I say,
Harvest Baptist Church on Guam has become a museum for spiritually
taxidermied relics, and a country club for good ole boys, a haven for Bob
Jones alumni who need a job, a house of entertainment, instead of a sacred
place where broken sinners can come to get the hell preached out of them.
They don't even preach against sin at Harvest! They make you sign a pledge
to live right every few months, and kick you out if you mess up! I have
never hid my intention of desiring to find a wife in church. It is tragic
that I am welcome at every tavern on Guam, but not the local Baptist church.
Go figure! Love is a powerful word, which means so little to professed
Christians today. My enemies as a truth-teller are not homosexuals, witches,
abortionists and drunkards, they are fellow professed Christians. Truly, Dr.
Jack Hyles was so right, “The Christian army is the only army in the world
that kills its wounded!” Judge me or love me, I love everybody with God's
unconditional love! I will continue to preach THE TRUTH, Lord willing and by
His grace. I CARE! 2nd Corinthians 12:15, “And I will very gladly spend
and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be
loved.”
You Don't Have to Scamper in Eternity
When You Are Judged
Will
you be rushing about hastily in an undignified way, pushing and shoving to
get to Heaven's pearly gates, just to find that you are denied entrance? The
will of God for salvation is plainly stated in the inspired Scriptures.
There is no need to guess! John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that
sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth
on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
I have had countless people write to me over the years, confused about
the way of salvation, asking me about something that a preacher said. Folks,
it doesn't matter what any man in the world says! The only opinion that
matters is God's opinion. Oh, but you say, “There are so many different
opinions of men concerning what the Bible teaches, how do I know who is
right and who is wrong?” May I say, THE TRUTH always becomes self-evident if
you search for it! Truth is like the sun, it can only be hidden by the
clouds for awhile, but then it comes shining through again! Likewise, lying
but sincerely misled preachers can propagate a counterfeit gospel all they
want, but the truth of the free grace of God cannot be hidden from those who
desire THE TRUTH! I encourage you to “SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES” for yourself
dear friend, as the Lord told us! John 5:39, “Search
the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and
they are they which testify of me.”
I can just see and hear the mass confusion
already in eternity at the Great White Throne of Judgment. People are going
to be scampering like cockroaches before God's throne, looking for someone
else to blame. They are going to threaten God with their attorneys, but
there won't be any lawyers, because they'll all be burning in Hell. Many
people will be intensely ANGRY at their Catholic priests and popes who
deceive them with lies. Tens of millions of Mormon people will be angry at
Joseph Smith who lied to them. Ellen G. White will be blamed by tens of
millions of Seventh-Day Adventist followers who believed her demonic lies.
Lie, lies and more lies! Oh, how the blame will happen! I can hear some nice
elderly woman saying: “I trusted you John MacArthur! You said I could get to
Heaven by doing the
seven things you teach, but you were wrong! All I had to do was trust
Jesus!” Oh, there will be weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth the
Bible says, when they are cast into outer darkness for eternity in Hell.
Luke 13:28, “There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see
Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God,
and you yourselves thrust out.” Do you know dear friend, that God is
either offering you “ALL THINGS” (Romans 8:32), or else you won't
receive anything, NOT EVEN A SINGLE
DROP OF WATER (Luke 16:19-31) in Hell! Are you willing to take that kind
of risk with your eternal happiness and fate? NOT ME BUDDY! I got saved at
age 13 and praise the Lord every day for His free gift of eternal life!!!
Oh, how the bitter tears will flow, as the
sound of the ironclad gates of Hell open, and the stench of the burning Lake
of Fire engulfs you with horrifying fear, knowing that Hell has no end. Time
will not exist anymore past Revelation 10:6. There will be NO TIME in
eternity! There is NO TIME in Hell. You will suffer the torments of Hell
forever and ever and ever, with no rest day nor night, and there will be no
sense of passing time. The Lake of Fire will be your home for all eternity,
which is “THE SECOND DEATH” (Revelation 21:8). Revelation14:11, “And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest
day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth
the mark of his name.” Dear reader, please take this matter seriously.
That is why I take the matter of the King James
Bible being inspired very seriously, because they are God's Words. That is
what is biblically meant by “inspired.” Paul reminded young Timothy that
every Word he held in his hands in the Holy Scripture came from almighty God
(2nd Timothy 3:16). The Bible was not authored by mortal men, it was
authored by God, Who made sinful men holy to pen His Words. It is ridiculous
for intellectuals in modern times to claim that “inspiration” merely refers
to the initial breathing out of God's perfect Words to man, when God's Holy
Spirit is still breathing through those inspired Words today. If they are
not inspired, they are not from God.
Perhaps you don't believe in a place of fire
called “Hell.” You are a fool not to believe, in lieu of all the death, war
and suffering in this sin-cursed world. Do you really believe that life just
happened, thrown together by
cosmic chaos and accidental aftermath (as evolutionist bizarrely claim).
I went shopping the other day. I bought foods to make a stir-fry, one of my
favorite meals. I bought a green bell-pepper, and a red bell-pepper, yellow
onions, peeled garlic, new potatoes in a can, whole mushrooms in a jar,
skirt steak, and some fresh whole red tomatoes. I also bought a big
cast-iron skillet a couple months ago, that I love, because the iron
transfers heat more quickly, and I get a hotter fry for my foods. God is so
good! I marvelled as I looked at all those wonderful gifts from our good
God, that any ungrateful fool would dare say that there is no God, and take
all of these sweet blessings for granted. God knows that I thank him dozens
of times each and every day of my existence, for His goodness, love and
mercy toward a wretched sinner like me!
THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR BLESSINGS ON
ME!!!
I can hear all the blame going on, pointing
fingers at Billy Graham, John MacArthur, John Goetsch, Chip Ingram, Don
Blackwell, Mother Teresa, the Popes of Rome, Kirk Cameron, Beth Moore, Ray
Comfort, Paul Washer, John Hagee, Ellen G. White, Joseph Smith, Charles Taze
Russell, Charles Stanley, Pat Robertson, Rick Warren and countless other
heretics, who all preached a counterfeit plan of salvation that includes
human effort. There is a certain
GOSPEL MINDSET that you
must have if you expect to go to Heaven someday. There is no partial
salvation. There is no partial faith in Christ plus human effort to be
saved. There is no salvation where you can lose it by going into a life of
gross immorality and doubt. There is only the free gift of God, which is by
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! We are saved by “HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS”
(Matthew 6:33)!
People are like sheep—they are easily deceived,
often tricked, and become quick prey for false teachers. The whole problem
today is that people are listening to what man says about God, instead of
what God says about man in the Holy Bible! The apostle Paul said in 1st
Corinthians 11:1, “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
Notice that Paul followed Christ, which is the only reason why we should
ever follow any man. I do not mean to bring up Ray Comfort so often to be
unkind, God knows my heart; but rather, because he is a perfect example of a
preacher who tells a half-truth type of deception, misleading people with a
counterfeit gospel. Ray defends the truthful part of his deceptive plan of
salvation, assuring everyone that he has always believed and taught
salvation by grace through faith, not of ourselves, it is the gift of God.
Who can argue with that? Yet, the lying untrue part of Ray's deception is
that to be saved, you must make an effort to turn away from willful sinning
in your life (and I quote
verbatim) by “living a lifestyle that proves the reality of your
repentance. It's a continual thing!” That is the Devil talking! Ray Comfort
was inspired by demons when he said that! GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!
Getting born-again is not a continual thing.
Becoming a child of God does not require living a lifestyle! There is
nothing to prove by holy living regarding the new birth. IT IS THE FREE GIFT
OF GOD! The new birth is an instantaneous miracle wrought by the Holy Spirit
of God in response to a person's faith in the 'GOOD
NEWS' of the Lord Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, buried and
physically risen the third day from the dead. WHAT A PRECIOUS SAVIOR!!!
